UPDATE: 5/5/11
I was laid off unexpectedly last week and have been too embarrassed to log in here and admit that I can't even afford postage. I'll be contacting the swap hosts and my partners for the two swaps I wasn't able to get sent and will be refraining from swapping until my unemployment checks start to arrive (anyone familiar with the current state of unemployment in the US will be aware it might be a few weeks until that actually happens). I deeply apologize to anyone this hurts. This was not intentional.
WELL - Things are looking up! Here's what happened while I was gone:
*I changed my name AGAIN, this time not legally, because I needed a change after recovering. I wanted to start over in all aspects of my life. Now, I go by Lia. My name is still "may", but I go by "Lia".
*I became a Christian. Well, sort of. I'm still more spiritual, and my personal faith borrows heavily from my pagan roots... and I don't necessarily believe in Jesus, per se - other than that sure, he may have existed, but is he a deity? Not likely. I believe mostly the Christian teachings and ethics of loving everyone.
*I got a new puppy named Dingo - she's an Australian Cattle Dog and goes through toys like no other.
*I got a job as a consultant for For Your Pleasure. I do shows virtually and in person - let me know if you're interested!
*I came out as a lesbian. This is something I was really struggling with for a long time, but now that I've accepted myself for who I am - well, I'm happy as a freaking clam!

Hi! Seeing as you have an interest in Zombies. I'd like to invite you to view the trailer for an Independent Zombie Puppet Web Show, that my husband and I are making.

Thanks!
Let me know if you got my resend ,please. (A Note About .... Travel)
Since you have not responded to my messages, the Cookbook/Notecards Swap willl NOT happen. I've sent messages twice. I guess no loss for either of us. Hope you do better with other swaps.
Did you get A Note About .... Travel from me? Thanks!
So I was going to ask if you'd ever received the ATC-making-kit I'd sent you for August wishlist...
...but forget about all that, now I just hope you are doing okay! Please don't give up - your mental state has a profound impact on your health, and if you can somehow keep a positive outlook it can make all the difference... maybe you can find a way to transform your experience through art or writing...
Take care :)
Well, that sucks!! But lots of things still matter. As a matter of fact, the only things that really matter are what you DECIDE matter, right now. Put your pen in hand and start writing. It will make you feel better, and you love to do it. And you have a group of people who want to write to you...
Sending you lots of love.
OMG that is amazing! You really didn't have to send so much! The way you packaged it up was so beautiful also, it actually brought tears to my eyes. You really went above and beyond, and there is no way for me to express my gratituded with words alone. I am so sorry for how everything happened, and I only hope you will forgive me for my part of it...I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions, and should have been more patient and understanding. I am learning to do that more and more, so please forgive me...I know I was wrong for that. I hope things are going better for you, and OMG, I am just amazed by the package you sent to me. I'm speechless almost. I love the beautiful fabric...and I promise to take very good care of your lucky rat...and I WILL be sure to speak loudly so that he can hear what I wish for...you didn't have to send something so precious to you, I feel kinda wrong in keeping him knowing he is so special to you. I want you to have him if he means so much, ya know? I really do love it all, thanks so much...I can't really thank you in words enough, but I will try by saying thank you. Hugs and warm wishes for your future to be as bright as you'd like it to be, Joanne
Thank you SO much for the cute etsy fave from the Cheap Etsy Faves tag! I love them, they are SO cute! =o)
Thanks a bunch! I'll keep an eye out for it...mmmm those sour batch kids on your profile look really yummy! It's my birthday today, the 29th!!! I think I'm going to go buy some sour patch kids for myself after seeing those! =o)
