I am a RN from Canada living and working on the Mexico/New Mexico border. I worked Emergency room for 23 years and management for last 14 of those years. Now I work a non-stress 8-5pm clinic job so I have lots of time now for my crafts.

I am primarily a knitter and mostly knit socks with the occasional baby sweater or blanket thrown in. I have taught myself to craft all kinds of projects ie. rughooking, jewellery making, beading, scrapbooking, crochet etc.

Apprentice, Hell's Kitchen, Project Runway, Top Chef, craft shows (which have gone away in place of home decor)

Dont' get to read much. Only author I do read is V.C. Andrews books. I love true crime books and forensics. I also like little books of sayings and poetry

I listen to anything on the radio. Prefer soft rock. Love 70s &^ 80's artists from John Denver to Prince.

My teenage crush was on singer/actor Rex Smith whom I still have his music, movies and scrap books.

as a teenager, I collected poems, sayings on friendship, love, inspiration and the disabled. I worked with disabled children for many years so poems on overcoming diversity are great.
