About Me

I had to take a break from thus site just to personal reasons, I won't go into details but mental heath isn't good. Anyway I want to make good on the swaps from 7 odd years ago but the partners are either non active anymore or not interested. I'm not a bad person I just had a rough patch and it's took a long time to straighten myself back out

Hi and thanks for reading I live in the UK, I am a 38 year old a single mum. I live with my seven year old daughter and 10 year old daughter. I have a 13 year old(14 this year) daughter who lives with her dad.

Most of my time is spent looking after my kids and taking care of myself.

What spare time i do have i love to craft. I enjoy making ATC's and Cards. My front room looks like a bombs hit it due to the amount of craft stuffs spread all over. My favourite colours are Red, Blue and Black. I am also not a girly girl so Pink girly items don't interest me but i do like the colour Pink.

I love to read, write, watch movies, I also love the theatre, im big on travelling.

I love Nature and everything to do with it , i love being our doors. My favourite seasons are Spring and Autumn. I love the rusty colours of the leaves in Autumn. I love to make ATC's on the theme nature. Everything about it facinates me, the animals, plants, weather, everything. I'm a Nature freak

Things i dont like are; anything with nuts as i have a nut allergy and black liqorice, everything else is fine.

Favorite Music

I love to listen to music and my ipod is stocked full of different types. I love old and new, Rod Stewart is one of the favourite, i also enjoy meatloaf, celine dion, the beatles, elvis, will young, boyzone, east 17, etc to many to mention really. I love musicals my favourite is Wicked. I was able to go see this in the London Westend earlier this year.

Favorite Movies

Twilight is one of my all time favourite movies, i have watched it over 100 times along with New Moon. Edward is just fab and so cute.Team Edward all the way :-)

I just recently watched the Ugly Truth and Bounty Hunter and ive decided i think Gerard Butler is mighty fine :-)

Fifty shades trilogy films where fab, as was the Greatest Showman.

I dont watch movies very often but when i do my favourite types are horrors, comedies, sci fi. The last movie i saw at the cinema was Dark Knight which was fantastic and Health Ledger played a great role. I like musicals anything with doris day, Calamity Jane is a classic. I like others like Fame, Flashdance etc

I love black and white classics, How green was my valley, Casablanca, It's a wonderful life etc

I would like to get into Journalling aswell. I am currently doing a theme a day journal and hope to keep it for at least a year.

Dislikes

There is a few things I don't like so i thought i would mention them.

Pink Girly items (I like the colour pink though)

Socks (I wear socks them but don't want to recieve them)

Anything with nuts

Anything to do with creepy crawleys

Favorite Television

I love to watch tv when i am relaxing at home. My favourite shows are-

Comment: Thanks for the comment on my profile. I wish I could take credit for the A-Z list, but I have seen it on others profiles, and loved the idea. It took me a coupe of days to put it together... Comment: Thanks for your great comment! One of my books is being published this summer..I have a lot more that I haven't really promoted, am thinking of using my own artwork in them and self-publishing when I get the time. Sorry about the British humor comment..LOL..I'm sure your husband is lovely, I just don't seem to get (or appreciate) the British movies or sitcoms! I hope we get to swap sometime!

Comment: ahhh yes, that impala. great car. and yes i am a huge fan of supernatural. i always say that i'd love to have dean in the passenger side seat - preferably naked but that may get me a bit excited and in the end ruin the interior =P we named simon, simon because he's siamese. so it fits him perfectly! =P

Response: Wow that got there nice and fast. Im so glad you liked it. That was my very first ever art journal so it meant alot to me and was sad to see it go. But it went to a lovely new home. I had lots of fun making it and i now have the art journal bug. Lori x

Comment: First of all, the way you put the chocolate coins within their own little box to ensure safety during shipment was genius. From what I know, we don't sell boxes of such a small size - I'm definitely keeping them for future use. While on the subject of the chocolate coins, I can't tell you how amazing it is to finally have some within my possession. They look ten times more gorgeous in person and I bet they taste fantastic. I, however, won't be partaking of them until photographs are taken! As for the lollipops, I had no idea that they'd look so gosh darn adorable. Why Starbucks stores all around the world don't have these (or the chocolate coins) available is beyond me, but I guess that's what makes them so special. Being that they're so cute, I'm actually afraid to partake of them. But, I can't help myself. I must know of their flavor! Besides, I can always get more later if I want them badly enough, haha. Last, but not least, the Love Hearts. This is actually my first time having some, but they're oh so delectable. Here's hoping that, as my swapping continues, I'll be able to get far more than this. That's what makes swapping so wonderful - you're able to try new things. All in all, in case you can't already tell, I love everything. Thank you so much, Lori. You're such a sweetheart!

The little boxes i used i bought specially to send ATC's as they are perfect size, they where 5 for 1 pound at the local pound store. Bargain! I have to agree Gerard Butler is very east on the eyes. He is good in Law Abiding Citizen. I have a love for nature. I cant wait for all this snow to go away so I can go hiking on the trails more often. Take care :)

I enjoy Spring and Autumn most - especially spring when the flowers are blooming and fall when the leaves are changing. Wonderful! I also saw Wicked recently! A wonderful play/musical! I really rather enjoyed it! I am not generally a fan of musicals, so this was a surprise love. :) I hope you and your family have a wonderful time in Florida later this year! Carebears & My little pony! That takes me back to a better time:-) I miss them soooo much! I actually have a handmade "Sunshine Bear" wall hanging that was mine as a child. I was soooo happy to be able to pass it down to my daughter!

I enjoyed reading your profile, we have some similarities. My boyfriend loves his superman tshirt and wears it too often! I actually hid it from him but he went and bought another one so now he has two! I live in Florida there's many great places to vacation with family. Maybe try to visit a few cities. I was surprised to read the first paragraph on your profile, it takes a lot of courage to own up to ones mistakes. I think by admitting right up front like that your in the clear! Start fresh! Hi, I'm your swap partner for the quick profile comment swap :) I am also a HUGE Glee fan. I'm a newcomer to the show, at first I wasn't keen on it but it grew on me and now I really love it. The costumes are amazing and the cast & crew work so hard on that show to come up with all the different dance routines and story lines. Wicked is currently playing here in my city, I've been thinking about going but wasn't sure that I would like it or not. Having just read that it's your favourite I think I'll go along and have a look =D

Where in the UK do you live? I went on vacation to Ireland, northern ireland and scotland last year, it was amazing. I'd love to go to englanfd though too! my dad just got stuck in London because of snow and he said it was awesome! I'm jealous!

I'm gonna have to look at your pictures to figure our what bookatrix are. i just learned to do Instant books, are they kind of like those? I am very intrigued.
