I'm your average thirty something year old woman, who lives a perfectly average life. I'm married with no children or plans to have children. My husband and I have a dog, and that's plenty responsibility for us.
I work full time, and my free time is spent travelling, hiking, sending postcards, reading, trying to stay fit, and working puzzles.
In general, I prefer non-touristy cards over touristy ones, unless they follow one of the themes below.
Postcard Wishlist: Beaches * Cacti * Candy Canes * Cheerleaders * Coca-Cola * Dandelions (once they've turned all white and fuzzy) * Disney * Fireworks * Flamingos * Flowers (LOVE poppies and pond lilies/lotus flowers, DON'T LOVE roses) * Full Moons * Game of Thrones * Garden Gnomes * Glittery cards * Hearts * Hiking * John Muir * Landscapes (mountains, lakes, waterfalls, etc.) * Lantern Press (or similar poster print...Anderson Design Group, Ranger Doug, retro style, etc.) * Large Letter * Mermaids * Military Aircraft * Military Installations * National and State Parks * Naughty * Nudity * Offensive * Quirky * Panoramic * Photographic Portraits * Pie * Pigs * Pop Culture (shows, movies, bands, singers, etc.) * Sailboats * Sex * Snowmen * Swans * Umbrellas * Wild animal photography * Zoo cards *
I'm easy to please, though, and will appreciate whatever you send.
I get a lot of joy out of reading the messages written on postcards. If you can't think of something to write, share with me the best part of your day, the thing that currently worries you the most, the best book you've recently read or movie you've recently watched, or what you currently are seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and touching.
In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks. ~John Muir
If you haven't received my swap, my swap had postage due, or you have a different issue with what I sent, please contact me before leaving a rating. I will gladly take the appropriate actions to make it right.
I will offer the same courtesy before leaving anyone a negative rating.
We're all mature, understanding adults, right?
