Hey everyone! I'm a female born and raised in the deep South (USA). My fiance and I live with 2 wonderful dogs, Sullivan and Star. They are the best fur babies :) Star is a 13 year old Beagle and Sully is a 3 year old chihuhua/toy poodle/chinese crested mix. People tend to look at me strange when I tell them what he is but I assure you that he is adorable.
Quilting, Embroidery, Sewing softies, Stamp Carving
I am constantly trying new crafts so who knows what could be added to this list tomorrow :)
Colors: Aqua, orange, anything bright and cheerful
I am currently collecting any shade of orange, peach, sherbet, etc. 5" fabric charms for a quilt that I would like to make for my fiance. Any donations would be highly appreciated :)
You wanna make me the happiest person ever? I am OBSESSED with Clement Moore's "The Night Before Christmas" poem. I collect anything that is related to it. It's one of those things that drives my family bananas trying to find for me.
Auburn University (War Eagle!)
Pinup inspired items
Heather Bailey and Heather Ross Fabrics
I love fat quarters!
1930's Reproduced Fabrics
Old school Disney (as in anything made in the 1980's and later)
Giraffes! (I was one in another life, I think)
Dog anything
Seahorses
Fresh coffee
Gel Ink pens in any color
Prismacolor markers
Beads, buttons, any kind of small and colorful bauble
Felt
Quilting anything! Blocks, scraps, notions (especially those pins with the cute toppers like leaves and hearts)
Embroidery thread
Flour sack dish towels
Tea for my fiance
Embroidery patterns and carbon tracing paper
1970's & 1980's cartoons (Popples, Rainbow Brite, Snorks, Smurfs, Captain Caveman, Josie and the Pussycats, Jetsons, Hong Kong Phooey, Underdog, Dastardly and Muttley, Duck Tales, CareBears, My Little Pony, Muppet Babies, lord I can go on and on.... I'm such a big kid at heart)
The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster
All the cutesy stuff that seems to be dominating crafts right now like cupcakes, mushrooms, zombies, kawaii (i've never owned anything from this category but it all looks so cute) etc etc.
The United States of Tara, House, Family Guy, NCIS, Royal Pains, Warehouse 13, Dead Like Me, Dollhouse, Fairly Odd Parents, Rocky and Bullwinkle
This category tends to be hard for me to write out considering how many different genres I listen to. I love country, rock, rap, some jazz, big band, oldies, musicals.... I'll give anything a shot once!
On a random side note I have played the alto saxophone for 16 years! I've never counted out the years before today so that sounds amazing to me. I can't really remember a time when I didn't play an instrument. Music is just woven in to the fabric of me I guess.
I love to read! I have a degree in History and Art History so the whole loving to read thing was very beneficial. :)
Some favs are: Where the Red Fern Grows, When We Were Gods, The Birth of Venus, any historical fiction
I just want to be helpful and let you know what I might be disinterested in just incase:
I'm not nor ever will be a knitter. I think it's just too mind boggling for me. I dunno, I'm not even sure that I would wanna do it even with tutoring. Simply put, yarn really won't do me much good.
Smells like lavender, cinnamon, and pumpkin spice. They are just a little overwhelming for me.
Chocolate! I know, I know, I'm probably the only female on earth who hates chocolate...
Oh, and licorice! The thought of it makes my stomach crinkle up.
Scorpions terrify me. Seriously.
It is so hot and muggy in the summer here so please don't send anything that you think may melt. I would hate for you to go through all the effort and then it becomes a molten mess before I even get to see it.

You did not send the international pincushion as of yet. There will be another one rating sad to see this happen!

Hugs!
