Hello, I'm a 25-yo girl trying to escape the mundane of everyday life by connecting to people all over the world.

I'm addicted to cooking and baking, nice stationery, walks in the forest, books, languages, Star Wars and a couple of TV series (Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Twin Peaks, Downton Abbey, Friends, Sherlock, Doctor Who). I love getting to know new people and learning about their lives, so if you want to send me a letter and you're not sure what to write about, just describe what you're doing right now or what your average day looks like.

PS2: Please, bear in mind that even though I usually send my swaps as soon as possible, it might take some time before they reach you - as I live in the Czech Republic, it takes 1-2 weeks for my package to get to the USA or other overseas destinations. Thanks for your understanding :)

My taste in music is very ecclectic. I used to listen to mainly rock music when I was younger, but now I cannot say I have a favourite genre. Oh, maybe except 1980s and early 1990s music. I love that!

I love writing and getting postcards and letters and I'm always open to swaps! I'm active on Postcrossing.com - I stumbled upon that website by chance and I've loved it ever since. If you want to send me a postcard (either written and stamped or a blank one in an envelope, doesn't matter), here's a list of themes I like:

I don't have any kids myself, but I've got a little sister who's 9. Her name is Terezka and right now she's really into horses, dinosaurs, reading, ghosts, mysteries, kittens, dogs, Postcrossing.com and stickers. She loves stickers! And anything pink, glittery and generally cute is always welcome, of course. If you want, you can include some stuff for her in the swap as well, but please, don't send her candy or chocolate which contains nut - she's allergic, same as me. Thanks :)

• stuff meant for children - generally, I like cute stuff, kawaii is OK, but please, no over-the-top, tacky, kitschy puppies or babies or something. Also, I'm not really into Hello Kitty.

• nuts - I have a major sweet tooth and I love chocolate, but I'm allergic to nuts. I can eat almonds and coconut, but the rest is a no-no. If the list of ingredients says "may contain traces of nuts", that's OK, but "contains nuts" might give me some serious trouble.

• fish recipes - again, I have a serious allergy for fish, so I'd have no use for them.

• religious items and talk

• fruit tea - I don't like it, unless it's fruit-flavoured green or black tea or fruit and herb blend

• lemon-flavoured tea

• scrapbooking 3D embellishments- I like embellishing my letters and envelopes with stickers and labels, but other than that, I don't do scrapbooking.

• ATCs

• lipgloss and nail polish - never use them.

• kitschy "humorous" or rude stuff
