Hi there! My name is Denise. I have absolutely no idea what I should say on here, so here goes. I live in Ohio, where it can be freezing cold and hot all in one day. I've lived here all my life. I am divorced but have 2 wonderful children who are the light of my life. Both are boys and are in their last years of school! Woohoo!!! They both love baseball, wrestling and being goofy. We also have a cat named Firestone, who is absolutely crazy.

I love scrapbooking, stamping, art journaling, exploring being newly single, reading, and spending time outside.

Favorite Books- I have to say that I love mystery books. Some of my favorite authors are Patricia Cornwell, James Pattison and Kathy Reichs. I also love classical literature. As far as classic lit. goes, you can't go wrong with Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, etc. But still, mystery books win, hands down.

Favorite Music- I don't get to listen to MY music very often with 2 boys in the house, LOL! But when I do, I usually listen to celtic and alternative type music.

Favorite TV- I really don't watch TV too much. But the one show that I do take time to watch is The Walking Dead. I love that show. I'm not a zombie -type person but I really really love that show. And if they ever kill Darryl, I do believe that there may be a mini riot at AMC studios. Just saying. :)

I love scrapbooking. It is my one passion besides my family. I have been doing it since I was a teen. I love it when my boys look through their albums and make comments about something that they've forgotten or about a great time they had doing something. It makes it all worthwhile and it's what its all about.

I also love to do art journaling. I just started a few months ago and I must say that I am having a blast doing it. So much more fun than writing in a plain old journal.
