04/21/2023 Who can help me get back into good graces and become an active participant again? Last summer I was diagnosed with cancer, had surgery and several medical procedures. Since then I have retired and concentrated on getting healthy. Downside is I now have a lot of time on my hands, and a burgeoning craft room.

Basically, an old hippie/hedge witch. I believe everyone should be celebrated for their differences. Retired and looking forward to the best part of my life.

Ideal life would be to live in a little cottage (✔️), have a garden (✔️), time to create whenever I want ( have afternoon tea (or wine) with friends in the garden ( weather is almost permitting), wander flea markets for things to repurpose, spend Saturday mornings at farmer’s market and nursery’s.

I am one cat away from being crazy cat lady. I have 3 indoor cats and am caretaker to a feral colony and I practice TNR and make sure they stay healthy.

I live in a smaller town and it just came to my attention that all out mail is now being sent to St. Louis for processing! I found that out when a card that I sent to someone in town, less than 2 miles away, took four days to reach them.

So with that being said, going forward if my mail seems to take a little longer arriving that is why. I guess it’s for cost cutting purposes.
