Sooo excited I learnt how to post pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mother of two young children. Love nature,craft, art, cooking, sewing, crochet (not very good yet tho), Am very thrifty and trying to live as peacefully and lightly as I can in the world.

I enjoy listening to music. My list is endless there but a few of my favourite artists are

I lovee reading. Right now I am into the australian author Juliet Marillier. Her books are beautiful stories with age old fairytales superbly woven into them.

I have to tell you, but only in a whisper ( I love vampire books too) Is that odd? I can't get enough Twilight series, Vampire Academy, Vampire diaries..... :-/

In saying that I have also read all the classics, Jane eyre being my favourite. I have my home library of shakespeare....

I love spending time in the garden. We live in a small house at the moment but I still have lettuce, snowpeas, broccoli and sunflowers growing. Soon we are moving to the northern territory so I can grow my vegetables all year round :D

Which brings me to another important part of my life. I love working out ways to live peacefully on the earth. Being frugal does not mean being tight. Its a lifestyle choice that brings me peace. To know I am contributing to the health of my family and my planet gives me great fulfilment.

I love swaps. While I have only been a swap bot a little while. I have been doing swaps for years through my blog and my artwork I have probably participated maybe 20 swaps. You can imagine my thrill when I found a swap site than you can be doing swaps every week of the year. I am in heaven.

My children, my guy, my cats Jules verne and Samuel.L, my dog Bonnee, my garden, my herbs, my books (especially my jaimie oliver cook books of which I have many)

I love chai tea, apple cake, custard with ice cream, mangoes, strawberries, snow peas, corn on the cob, and freshly baked crusty bread.

I love the ocean, I love lying on my back in the ocean staring up at the sky, I love diving deep beneath the waves and chasing the whiting.

I love camping, I love being the only person around surrounded by nature.

I love pretty things laces, sparkles and soft material you can make blankets out of. I love pre owned materials. Cloth with history makes the most amazing pieces of material craft.

My favourite colours are definitely greens and blues. Such fresh natural colours. Any colour you find in nature I love.

wands ( I adore wands, I have 4 so far)

Antiques ( items with history fascinate me, my house is full of oddities)

alter cloths and scarfs of the delicate kind

photos ( a different world is in a photo, I especially love nature photography)

books ( I am an avid reader, once I pick a book up I don't put it down until I'm done)

Spells, BOS pages, and pagan peotry speak volumes to me.

Material ( I love to sew, I especially loved pre owned material that is still in good nick)

really anything that you have put your heart into I will love.

I am not going to put my dislikes down because as I said I would rather have something come straight from your heart with no restrictions.

I have been a polymer clay sculptor for quite a few years now and enjoy creating many fairytale based sculptures and wonderous creatures that appear only in our imaginations. I love sculpting the darker side of fantasy too. Images in the styles of Victoria Frances and other such gothic era artists. I think I just find their artwork so emotive. Maybe its not the joyful emotions it brings, but more of the darker side. I believe art in all its forms must make you feel. To me the whole object of creating art is to impart emotion and feeling onto all that view it.

I love water colours and like to create stories based around my paintings.

I love to make quilts, though I don't get nearly enough time these days.

I have only just developed a love for art journalling. It has captured my imagination. I have written diaries which I guess is kind of similar but journalling is just so much more creative to me. I can not wait to create more

I am finding my own path. I would say I am pagan but my path so far is varied. I take many varied aspects out of different religions for myself. I love nature, I love mother earth. I have discovered I am a very spiritual person ruled by my emotions. I practise yoga most mornings and meditation often. If my mind is at peace so am I. Please though I do ask don't preach to me. My path is mine to find. If it is meant to be it will happen in its own time.
