I'm Claudia, 37 years old, from Germany. I'm a teacher of German as a foreign language and teaching adults from all over the world.

Favorite Music

I like Queen, U2, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, ABBA, and several Finnish rock-groups, like Negative and Uniklubi.

Favorite Books

I love English crime stories, especially Martha Grimes' and Elizabeth George's books. And I'm mad about Terry Pratchett's disworld novels. I'm also into Harry Potter. I have quite a large number of cookbooks and magazines with loads of recipes waiting to be cooked or baked.

Favorite Movies

I love watching James Bond-films, The Lord of the Ringes and Harry Potter, etc.

Languages

I love learning languages. A couple of years ago I started to learn Finnish. It's difficult, but I love it! :-) My mother tongue is German and I studied English language and literature.

I collect

I collect postcards, stamps and recipes (cooking and baking, almost every kind except sea-food, mussles, veal).

My favourite postcards are frogs (if possible unwritten) - colourful things - food - fruits - recipes - animals (squirrels - kattas - koalas - parrots - dolphins ...), Nouvelles Images, beautiful spots and sights - landmarks -nature, lighthouses and map cards.

Comment: What a wonderful big sunflower card! I love it!! We're having the up and down weather here in North Carolina, too!! But it's better than the heavy hot air that comes with just plain summer! Thanks for a great card and stamps!!

Comment: thanks for the great lighthouse postcard. when i moved to minnesota from the east coast i learned about inland lighthouses one the great lakes and the mississippi river. there is one near where i live, on the river. it's not large and i have not seen it yet.

Could not believe what came in my mail today. A postcard for a swap that was for Send Me a Postcard or Three swap. It came backk to me today saying wrong address on it. I have checked it a couple of times and it is the right one. I am going to mail it again tomorrow. Have a good day.
