In May 2017, I graduated with a BA in Visual Art from Boise State University. I now work at a local library - I love my job!
I live in a suburb of Boise, ID - we've been here for close to twenty years, and really love the more laid back, relaxed, fairly traffic-jam free life we have here.
I will always send, so if you don't receive your swap, please send me a message or email and I'll get a replacement to you ASAP.
Korby Lenker, Death Cab for Cutie, Dawes, Bee Gees, Jason Isbell, Billy Joel, Gomez, The Format, John Prine,
Harry Potter, Sorcery and Cecelia, Code Name Verity, Neverwhere (Gaiman), Mitford series (Karon), The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate, The Giver of Stars, Gilead (Robertson)
ATCs -- mainly collage/mixed-media, pen-and-ink, watercolor, or colored pencil (often made with the turpenoid technique.)
I started making fused glass projects over the last year, and have been really enjoying that as well. I dabble in a variety of other arts and crafts as well, from paper piecing to crochet to repurposed books.
My favorite hobby is photography - the first website linked takes you to my photography blog.
'Kountry Klutter' type crafts (cutesy things in pastel shades.) Anything above a PG rating (please keep language and graphic/visual elements on anything you are sending me at or below that level.) Fabric yoyos. Bracelets and rings (can't wear them). I would also rather not receive things related to divination or the occult. Don't care for tons of glitter or 'bling' - but it's fine in moderation and I love silver and gold ink!
And I really don't need any more paper - I have paper stacks that defy explanation, so please don't add bits of paper as extras. Too. Much. Paper. I swear, paper is taking over my life, It's not that I don't like it. I just am out of space to store it!
vintage postage stamps (loose, not still stuck to envelope), jewel tones, miniature turtles of whatever material (I collect those in a shadow box,) Christmas, vintage bits and pieces, the ocean, pewter, jelly fish, octopuses, owls, old book illustrations, lino cuts, all shades of green, Klimt, earrings, Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, board games, really loud live music, glass, ATCs, nature photography, insects, the color orange, tatting shuttles. I love nativity scenes for Christmas (I collect those.) My favorite ATCs are hand drawn /hand painted (any medium.) I also love artist pens, alcohol inks, small fun rubber stamps that are appropriate for children (I use those at the library), corner or paper punches, anything Severus Snape or Alan Rickman, Nikon accessories or lenses (one can dream, right?), vegetable seeds, pendants or necklaces that have a modern, clean look.
I will usually rate the day I receive the package. I don't rate for extras -- don't feel you need to stuff an envelope to get a good rating. If I can tell time, care, and effort were spent on the ATC/letter/package, if it makes me smile big - that's what a heart rating will be based on.

I was trying to leave you a cute message via a photo, but I can't figure out how to get a picture on here. Cheers!
Your ATCs look really cool! I love the stable fly and the bugs ones.
Since you're into more unusual animals, I wonder if you'd be interested in joining Scales 'n' Tails? It's for all reptile and amphibian themed swaps. We currently have a dragon postcard (handmade welcome) and turtle ATC but I'm thinking of adding some more unusual reptile/amphibian ATCs later in the summer (red salamander, purple frog (google it, it looks so odd!!!), and others). With your art skills you would be so welcome 💖
