My name is Monica. I am a married mother of three children ages 9, 7 and 3. I am a multi media artist. I have worked with clay, paint, fabric, beads, glass, paper and cake. I am a cake artist and create several sugar items a month. Cookies, cake and gumpaste. I have a big collection of beads for jewelry making, metal, ribbon, stamps, paper, lace, fabric, dominos, bingo numbers, tools, thread, yarn, pens, pencils and various stickers. I LOVE miniature things! Not sure why! I also LOVE folk art and Day of the Dead art. I am also quite fond of mexican Loteria. My father owned a printing shop before he passed away 7 years ago so I really like different types of paper and inks. I have traveled both in the states and abroad. I have a huge collection of books in my library at home. I think there are just over 1400 books. My best friend has taught me to use some of them in my art. GASP! I tore a book!

I like all kinds of music. I am most relaxed when country is playing but any type of music inspires me in some way.

magic realism is what I mostly enjoy. I am reading the girl with the dragon tattoo right now. I ingest books. I have to soak up a book after I read it. I usually dream about the book for days after till I work out all the details I read and then I can start a new book. Yes, I read all the Harry Potter books and the twilight series. I was team EDWARD!

I don't really have a favorite movie right now but I like just about every type of movie. I am not a fan of the sad ending. I like the hero to win and I like happy endings. I used to LOVE horror movies till I had children now i can't watch unless I go check out the IMDB and read all the spoilers first.....haaahaaa. It hits me weird now since I have little ones. I can't sleep after a scary movie.

I read, ride my bike, run, teach Pilates, yoga and bootcamp classes. I love trying new things. I would like to try water skiing. I have never tried but I want to conquer that goal.

I am very new. I am also VERY scared to get a poor rating so I follow directions carefully and mail out as early as I can! I am new to stamping so any stamps, ink pads, embossing powders, any adhesives, stickers, jewelry making supplies, paper, charms, beads, tools, playing cards, socks (love them!!), fabric, lace, ribbon, yarn, buttons, interesting metal objects, any art suppies really! dominos, craft magazines, beading magazines, envelopes, cards,

poor quality chocolate, religious items (not really a dislike but my mom gives me ALOT of stuff), sloppy swap work
