I am Della a 34 year old stay at home Mother of a 7 year old little girl

We currently live in Upstate New York but my heart is in Salt Lake City, Utah (We are not Mormon or even close to it in case you were wondering) & can't wait to move back there.

I find the most joy with animals & nature. I am a dreamer, a planner if you will, I am still working on the doing part though.

I am one of the most contradictory people you will ever know, yet I understand who I am better than most, what I like tends to be polar opposites to each other. Life, Death. Religion, Occult... it just goes on. I like to see & understand both points of view.

I love to do swaps & don't send anything I wouldn't be happy getting, I try my best for hearts as that let's me know I truly made someone happy which is my goal...However I understand it's 100% up to my partner.

I send packages I'd be glad to get & expect the same, Nothing is worse then spending the time to pick out $$ of goodies for your partner & getting one or two dollar store items back.

I would rather get one high quality item then multiple lesser quality items.

It's all about quality over quantity, personalization & fun.

Decor

Somewhere sandwiched between - Natural history museum, old library/study (think green lamp) I aspire for my house to look like a Natural history museum Tuscan, Rustic, North eastern forest.

My house has alot of wrought Iron, black metal & wood in it, as well as brown...I love the color brown!

I also like Steampunk & Gothic designs.

Jewelry

Necklaces: the jewelry I wear most are necklaces I wear a 20"-24" chain & favor silver colored metals & brass...metals that are antiqued are a favorite of mine. (I would really love a scrabble tile necklace of a bird)

Bracelets: I wear 7.5"

Rings: I wears size 9 US

Earrings: I do have pierced ears, but I only wear studs.

Candy

I love chocolate, if it's flavored chances are I'll like it even more...raspberry & orange flavor...I love aerated chocolate & eat both milk & dark chocolates, with a slight preference for milk.

I'll eat almost any candies, 100-grand bar, Swedish Fish & Milky Way dark chocolate as some of my favorites

My favorite cookie are chocolate coconut cookies, but I also like pumpkin spice cookies & any cookie from the alternative baking company are so good.

My favorite brownies are topped with walnuts & I favor candy apples over caramel apples.

I also like truffles a whole lot, liquor filled chocolate bottles & rock candy lolly pops.

Drinks

Lose leaf tea: Hibiscus & black fruity flavors are my favorites, Chai is also a hit, long story short is it is hard to go wrong by me with lose leaf tea, I tend not to favor the whites & greens though unless I mix them with something.

I also like getting flavored honey sticks & natural sugars to have with my tea.

Coffee: I like Vanilla & Hazelnut, just about anything that isn't too strong, I however dislike Starbucks...yuck!

Hot Chocolate: I have yet to have a cup of hot chocolate I haven't liked, all in all Raspberry, French Vanilla & Mint are probably my 3 favorites.

We love getting Christmas cards especially glittery & shiny ones we're not particularly religious but don't mind getting religious cards if the person sending them is a believer in what they're sending.

I would love have our kids to do a swap with someone around her age, my Daughter is 6

I'm crazy about birds and our Christmas tree has a lot of them especially owls & my daughter love peacock feathers so would warmly welcome something peacock/Christmas.

I have a very mild peanut butter allergy but other members of my family enjoy peanut butter but other than that chocolate oranges are my favorite holiday treat, I also really love hot cocoa especially raspberry flavored hot cocoa & mint hot cocoa & speaking of pent my daughter is positively obsessed with mint & chocolate & anything gummy... you've never met another child who likes mint flavored things so much. I promise.

I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to the holidays I really love Christmas but the rest of my profile speaks to my taste which doesn't really change depending on the season.

I guess the only thing holiday wise I could ask is if you could please not send glass ornaments because I do have a little girl & pets...there is no way any glass ornaments would make it past the season in my house.

I am 100% okay with you substituting sending something for my daughter instead of me for any holiday swap... just let me know in a little note or something who the swap is for.

..."Superior cotton" sounds like it would be high quality rope, but it's really a safety rope that's strands fall apart easily to prevent entanglement. nearly all cotton ropes are treated so if it doesn't say "Untreated" it's not bird safe.

...I normally get Cockatiel size toys for them, not Parakeet sized.

• Coconut fibers...I had a bird nearly hung himself playing with a bird toy that was made of Coconut fiber. The strands are just too strong for such a small bird. Thankfully I saw what was happening & was able to untangle him before it was too late.

• Sisal rope...It is also a strong fiber & a hanging risk
