I love every aspect of it...the too chunky material hinges, the theme, the scribbly wibbly style of the sketches and writing, the spontaneity ...all of it! Sometimes refined is over rated after all. Now I'll have to try some too as your example has completely dispelled my hesitations..! Your idea for a cloth jointed paper doll is intriguing... Mmm hmmm.
Just reading your profile. I have to say you're the only other person I've ever heard of who saw Shower and thinks it's great -- I do too. Just love it.
You said you were curious about the scales--do you mean what it was made of? If so, the Michael's in my area has scrapbook paper that is basically made of glitter that looks like sequins without the holes in them. I just cut pieces out of that paper and used mod podge to affix them and to put on to of them!
