About Me

I'm Mom to 3 wonderful daughters,Gramma to 2 fantastic granddaughters&still in love with their Dad/Grandpa who I met when I was 14!Other 'loves'of mine~rainbows,dragonflies,kaleidoscopes,snow,time to read a good book(&if Nora Roberts/JD Robb wrote it,all the better),time with friends,walking the woods,almost anything vintage(especially buttons,jewelry&fabric),DARK chocolate&art supplies..... I collect~almost anything that resembles a dragonfly,kaleidoscopes,vintage buttons&embroidered pillowcases&windchimes! My favorite colors are purples,forest green,spring green,blues&sunflower yellows. Have discovered that things from homes where cigarrettes are smoked really make me feel ill!So please try not to send things that have been around smoke,ok?many thanks~

Celtic,The Weepies/Deb Talan,Crosby,Stills,Nash&Young,The Grateful Dead,James Galway,Joni Mitchell,Blue October,James Taylor,Al Petteway&Amy White,The BEATLES,The Kennedys....& many,many more.And bluegrass.Still don't like opera(although there was a commercial awhile ago that had a bit of opera in it that sounded good)

Favorite Movies

Mary Poppins...not really but I DO love it!Just cannot zero in on one!(the scene where they're laughing&floating up by the ceiling looks like my idea of fun) action&comedy are usually draws for me. looking forward to seeing 'Brave' when it comes out(age is relative)

Favorite Television

at the moment~The Amazing Race,Survivor,Grey's Anatomy..................... OK,if I had to choose 2 shows only~they'd be "House"&"Sunday Morning"...

Favorite Crafts

collages,making envelopes from calendars&magazines,jewelry making(mostly beading now),embroidery.New things are good~would like to try zentangles soon&maybe some weaving.Also am amassing a color collection of wools for felting(repurposed,shrunken sweaters mostly!)And have been thinking of mobiles lately&hope making those is in my future as well. Need to dust off the sewing machine,too~

beach glass,beads,interesting 'findings' to incorporate into earrings&any of the things I collect(dragonflies,kaleidoscopes,vintage buttons&windchimes) ~pointers re. setting up shop on etsy~

Response: Wow!I am SO sorry~thought I was sending a very special swap(I don't share my Kona with anybody)and I sent what I normally put in the grinder for my pot of coffee.Will definitely not make that mistake again&am sorry you were disappointed.Send the crushed beans back&I'll send you the sheet of stickers I received,ok?lol

Had to post this~ I am trying very hard to make up for the swap I couldn't complete 4 yrs. ago.One make-up swap is on its way,waiting to hear back from a 2nd swapper re. whether or not she'd enjoy something different since it's been so long&have never had any response from the 3rd swapper(will try to msg again now) I understand the need to banish members from swaps sometimes but life gets in the way now&then&logic should also play a part in decisions re. participation. When I join in a swap,my goal is for my partner(s) to REALLY like what I send them. ok,that's about it~have a beautiful day...or night,as the case may be. Terri wonder2 yep,this is my profile.
