Since I had you for two swaps, I wanted them to be different yarns-- the white was my favorite. the striped scarf was multicolored thread and it was a coincidence that it came out evenly striped, I thought it would be a more random pattern, I just love those colors together. Response: Thank you for the prompt rating and the heart. I kinda like things asymmetrical, so I'm oving the origami pouches-- I haven't got one square yet, but I think they look great a bit off-center. I love hand-sewing, but I've been unsure if recipients would min that my items are not machine done. I appreciate your enthusiasm and will feel a bit more positive about the stitching. Response: I'm pretty fearless. About the only thing that scares me are spiders in my hair, earwigs, and pilot lights. Other than that, I'm willing to experience just about anything. It was a great view off the bridge, but disconcerting the way it swayed, you could actually feel it.
Response: I'm glad you liked the card. When I was touring, crowds had to keep moving so it was hard to just study the crown jewel pieces; but exciting to be there. I have a couple pieces of artwork and some crafts on my webshots page:
