Description:

(This swap was originally created by @Anneliese25 .)

It's hard to remember how cool we are sometimes. We get caught up in life, focus on our failures, on regrets, on things we haven't done. I think it's time to give ourselves credit.

The task: Write a letter to your partner. Include a list of your accomplishments and things in life that you're proud of. No item too big or small.

Won a spelling contest in 7th grade? Include that.

Got out of a toxic relationship? Write it down.

Think you've got some pretty rocking lips? This is their time to shine, people.

The point of all this is to remind ourselves (and others) that we've done a lot of weird, fantastic, wonderful, ordinary things that we have every right to be proud of. We're awesome, and it's time to share that.

Your list should include at least 5 things. More is fine; less is not.

Have fun!

The fine print....

  1. Send on time. This is one of the swap requirements.
  2. Rate your partner promptly.
  3. Newbies are welcome.
  4. There is no swap rating requirement, but I will check every profile and ban as I deem necessary.
  5. Communication goes a long way to solving problems, so PM me and/or your partner if there are any issues.

This is a great idea but I feel like I am bragging LOL I don't like to be that person LOL

It's okay to acknowledge good things about ourselves! Positive self-talk can help us face struggles with courage and determination. :)

I'd love to do this!

Can I type my letter and print it out? Thank you.

TC 02/21/2017 #

Yes. Letter can be typed or handwritten. As long as it's legible.
