I love a good scavenger hunt and I love showing off the area I am blessed to live in. I also love to learn more about other parts of this great planet we live on. Well, I put the two together. I also thought this would help us to get to know each other better as we share our thoughts about our pictures. Grab your phone, or camera if you're old school. Head out to your yard & neighborhood to grab the right photos. Find a shot for each of the items listed below. Feel free to get creative. Send the pics with a label from the list and a sentence or two description to each of your partners. Here's your hunt list ~ ~ something that shouldn't be where it is ~ something recyclable ~ something painted ~ something you love ~ a secret spot ~ pretty as a postcard ~ growing greenery ~ smells so good ~ colorful creation ~ peacefulness ~ kick back and relax ~ fun times ~ street sign ~ people with pets ~ summer time ~ something inspiring I will not elaborate on the items in the list as part of the fun is using your creative mind to interpret each one. *Yes, we are sending this electronically, but has there is time in finding and taking the photos and then putting it all together with your descriptions, I marked it type 3. Let me know if you disagree.

I would still make it a Type 1 I think, but this is a really cool swap! I'm willing to join either old school or not :)

Am I allowed to send something "winter time"? I'm in the southern hemisphere so I wouldn't be able to send a summer time pic, unless I can send a picture taken during the summer, if that's allowed, I could work with that too.

How far you wonder is up to you. Whatever you consider “yours” works for me.

We’re keeping this one electronic. I’ll host in a couple months old school with printing out pics.

And yes, if you are in Southern Hemisphere, please substitute winter time for summer time.

Maybe it is me because it is Monday but I see this is a type 3 . I don't see where this is electronic! I hope it is to send the photos! Great swap idea!

Can you also take pictures inside the house? Or only outside? :-)

A couple of questions have been asked.

YES, you can take the pictures inside or outside. Inside could be your home or another location that is "yours" like your work, favorite coffee shop, church, etc.

The key on the pictures is that they are meaningful and part of your normal routine.

You may want to save the pictures and text as a jpg and send the jpg to your partners so the text stays with the pictures as you intend. This is NOT required, but may be the easiest way to share them all.
