Hello there!

I am 39 years old and live in Texas. I have a busy and beautiful life teaching voice lessons to kids from grades 6-12, teaching fitness classes at the gym, and singing professionally.

I used to make decos and swap back in the early 2000s but it's been years. I'm a newlywed (since 2018) to a wonderful husband. We have two adorable dachshunds and both teach in the fine arts.

I am Catholic and my faith is very important to me. My Christianity is essential to who I am, and would love to discuss it if you'd like, but it's fine if you aren't into that.

I'd love to make some friends on here. It's been a while since I had some legit penpals or got any real letters in my mailbox besides bills.

I am brand new to Swap-Bot and I'm happy to be here! I am still figuring out mailing things through the post office. I always send out on time, and I ask that if you haven't received something, please contact me before leaving a bad rating. It probably got lost in the mail! (oh no!) I can fix it. Also, if for some reason, postage is due on arrival - contact me first, and I'll fix it.

I mark things as "sent" when I put them in the mailbox, either at home or the post office. Depending on the time that happens, the mail might go out the next day or even two days later if I mail something Saturday night.

Anything I can sing! I love Classical music, especially religious music from Gregorian Chant to Polyphany. I really love Mozart, Thomas Talllis, Chopin...the greats. I love English choral music and hymnody the best.

As far as secular music goes, I'm a very mixed bag. My favorite singer of all time is Loreena McKennitt. I've seen her live twice and I just love her!

I also love: Showtunes (think Classic Broadway...not Hamilton) 1940s music 80s/90s Pop, Rock, Ska, Rockabilly, Big Band, New Age, some Country, and Hip-Hop.

I used to tour with a Big Band show and I absolutely love swing music!

-Early or Late 1800s: clothes, etiquette, flowers, nosegays, tophats, art, manners, anything Victorian!

-Decade clothes themes! I'm really into historical costuming, so any time period really until the 60s. I love Medieval clothes, Renaissance, Tudor England, corsets, 1800s (especially 1860s antebellum through 1880s), and modern decades especially the 1940s!

-Llama theme

-Unicorn theme (but not the overly gross...pooping rainbows kind. Cute, but not over the top.

-Teas : I used to live in the UK and I love British style black teas. Mmmm.

I love all people. I just have a few things I'd rather not have included in swaps:

-Political things unless we've spoken about it before. This includes any current political movements. I'd just rather keep all that separate from swapping.

-Material bashing my own faith. Talk to me about your beliefs! I'd love to hear about it...but please don't bash mine.
