I enjoy dabbling in a wide variety of arts including photography. I'm not trained in anything. I just play and enjoy the results.
painting with acrylics or watercolors
pottery
digital photography of items in nature
bright colors
the ocean
mountains
postcards
dark chocolate
letters/e-mails from people who share my interests
coffee (almost any flavor except hazelnut and raspberry)
cinnamon Kit Kats and peanut butter Kit Kats (I've only seen them in Canada)
pretty bowls
rocks -- painted or not, but small enough to hold in my hand or carry in my pocket
shells
images and handmade art with positive messages
I love taking walks and taking photographs of flowers and trees and interesting natural and man-made textures. I like to try and capture a different view. I like taking macro photos of flowers. Geometric patterns in nature and architecture intrigue me, such as the repetitive pattern of supports under bridges
I love to connect with others who are independent thinkers -- who like to question and wonder and be amazed at serendipitous happenings and curious dreams. While I am not religious, I am deeply spiritual, and love learning about spirituality and different views. I've enjoyed reading Neale Donald Walsch and Joel Osteen. Their writings make me think.
I love watching the change of seasons and the patterns in nature. I enjoying finding wisdom everywhere I look. It's important to me that I contribute something positive to the world.
I try to put into practice things that are for my highest good and the good of the world. I try to recycle and buy organic foods as much as possible. I have begun to notice that I've collected a lot of stuff -- in addition to art supplies -- and am trying to cut down on the clutter. So I try to buy only things I really need and can use rather than just things that will collect dust on the shelf.
