My Chiquita, my Lady Bug, my Gala (kudos to those who get the Dali reference) artistically is my muse, she's the creative spark who reignited the passionate flame for art in me. Personally, other than keeping me well organized and spoiled rotten, she's an incredible cook and my favorite companion, every day with her is a gift. She's mom to our two furribles, Fancy Mae, our 2 year old rat terrier who is a sleek 30 pounds of love and Pawli, our cat who with discipline and perhaps Ritalin will one day be a good cat.

I've always been an art lover. One of my earliest memories is coveting a beautiful Monet at a local museum. The practical side of me studied psychology, but true to my artistic side I minored in fashion design and used all of my electives for art classes. I enjoyed the illustration and creative side of my studies, but sewing was not my strong suit. (pun intended) I grew up and received a Catholic education through the university level. I became an ordained Christian minister 14 years ago to be able to take a more active role in ministry rather than just sitting in a pew. I've performed over 400 wedding ceremonies and six funerals since then. I still consider myself strongly Catholic and actively practice my faith, but also have benefited from the study of other faiths including Buddism.

I listen to whatever my mood dictates. I love opera when I cook. I love rancheras anytime, especially when I paint, good jazz all the time some 80's pop.

I've read just about everything by Isabel Allende and Christopher Moore, I love Robert Fulghum and the classics, especially Thoreau and Shakespeare and the poetry of Lorca.

I love foreign films! Pauline et Paulette is such a touching film, Le Auberge Espagnol, The Devil's Back Bone, The Road Home, Callas Forever, Life is Beautiful, Pinochio with Roberto Benigni, Pan's Labyrinth, Monsiuer Ibrahim with Omar Sharif, The Notebook, The Man Who Cried

Fringe, Dancing with the Stars, anything on The Food Network.

Currently painting with acrylics and glitter paint on canvas. Love sharing in crafty stuff with my sweet heart, altering things and adding glitter, beads and stones, also painting things.

Likes: Glitter paint, acrylic paint, canvas, glitter, shiny stuff, beads, stones, etc., Dia de los Muertos stuff, Monet, Dahli, Frida and Diego, BACON!!! CHOCOLATE, I love to cook and explore the cuisine and spices of other cultures. jewel tones especially reds, blues, greens and gold. My favorite decorating technique is to spray paint everything gold. LOL!

Dislikes: anything plaid, pastels, stuff that isn't shiny, pecans (highly allergic)
