Postcrossing is a hobby that has brought me a lot of joy.

I like illustration-type art. Or simple line drawings. The vision that pops into my head is the worksheets that a first grader might get where they have to follow a path and go to the store and the park and there are trees, roads, buildings and houses. Just very simple drawings.

I absolutely love listening to podcasts. Surprisingly, while I’ve been under pandemic-forced work from home, my listening has gone done. Probably because I’m not in the car as much. Some of my favorites (that are still being produced) are What Should I Read Next?, The History Chicks, The Real Weird Sisters (Harry Potter related), self-help and growth podcasts, Disney-themed podcasts, and a whole lot more. I like anything that transports me to another time or place or helps me improve myself.

I watch all sorts of random shows. I don’t have set programs that I watch, but have noticed that I really like shows that are set in the past and period dramas. Mystery, intrigue, comedy, meet-cute romance.

I used to watch When Calls the Heart every week until I down-graded my cable subscription. Now I find all sorts of shows on Amazon Prime and the best free app - Tubi. As a teen, I enjoyed Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and my tastes as an adult are similar. I enjoy the time periods of late 1800s to 1940s.

Collage! I find the process of going through magazines and cutting out pictures very relaxing. I guess, my hobby is more the cutting rather than collage because I find it harder to put everything together in a final piece. For years, I would keep old magazines because I liked to flip through them and look at the pretty drawings or photos. But now, I prefer to dissect them and cut out pieces that inspire me or elicit an emotion in me - something that resonates with me.

Clipart! Is that a hobby? I love to collect electronic images in various apps and put them together into something practical like To Do lists or planning pages.

Stickers and washi! They are so much fun to look at and use to enhance other items. I might have a minor obsession with them.

If there are issues with any of my swaps let me know so I can make it right. I am doing all weighing and measuring at home. My scale is accurate, but it’s not a postal scale.
