40 and learning to love this new season in my life! I have an amazing 17 year old daughter who is a senior in high school and will leave for college and have her own life. It's time for me to come to grips with the changes and make the most of it.

Great husband and 3 dogs. LOVE to craft.Anything paper or fabric related, but love to try new craft things too. In Sales/Marketing for an incentive/meeting planning company. Really involved at church. My husband has a Harley and I'm slowly getting into riding with him. It still scares me, but it really is a lot of fun. I can see us being retired and cruising around in our motorhome with his bike on the back.

I'm fascinated with anything from outside the US. Postcards, pictures, stamps, currency, etc. I love to travel and I'm really interested in learning about other cultures. While my family is on the beach during vacation, I'm taking a city bus downtown to see how the locals live. Anything written in any language other than English, license plates, harley stuff, Unique fabric scraps, Most anything purple or antique looking gold, Crosses, Sequins and bling,chihuahuas and welsh corgies, Black and white, Hydraneas (sp), foreign maps, the Fall season, scriptures, quotes, the letters J, K &R, pillow cases, vintage anything, stamped metal, roses (my daughter's middle name is rose), journals, ruffles, anything girlie.

Lately I've gotten really into Tim Holtz. If I had a wish list, it would be full of his products. If you aren't familar, you should check him out at www.timholtz.com and watch his tutorials.I can't wait to get my hands on the vegabond :) and I'm now into inks (pigment, alcohol, all kinds) and stamps.

Clowns. I'm not at all easily offended, but dont like the dark and eerie stuff. Don't like skulls, elves or belly buttons.

I'm getting back into scrapbooking, but not using as many embelishments so I can get the albums to shut. I love to quilt, make pages in art journals, sew fun stuff but not clothes. I want to learn to metal stamp (bought a set of stamps but can't get them to work right) and would love to try a pottery wheel. I love to embroider pillowcases so I'm always looking for fun embroidery patterns. I'm big into fine glitter, love to make jewelry but I'm not so good yet. Also love to make kids crafts with my 5 year old niece. She loves anything girly or dinosaur. I wish I knew how to make a hard return so this doesn't all run together, sorry.

I LOVE 70's MUSIC! I grew up in the 80's so I like that too, but 70's music just makes me smile :) I don't watch much TV, but I do get completely hooked on Big Brother every summer. I know... I love a lot of movies - I saw GrownUps recently and laughed like a crazy woman. It's totally inappropriate but I love Knocked up. Mama Mia is up there on my list too. Gotta love Piece Brosnan!

I read all the time, and sometimes have 2 or 3 going at once. Love Janet Evanovich (sp), Some recents I've read and enjoyed: The Help, Little Bee, Three Cups of Tea, My Horizontal Life, Fly Away Home, The Red Tent, One Day, The Shack, I'll read anything.

I'm pretty laid back and easy to please. Anything that you make or put thought into will make my day. Thanks for reading.
