Hi there,
My name is Brigitte and I live in a small village in southeastern Germany. In my spare time, I love reading crime novels and thrillers, I'm an enthusiastic knitter, and I do other handicrafts, too. I love getting snail mail, and I would like to get postcards from all over the world. Because I like to travel but don't have the time and/or money to do so, I love travelling by postcards. I hope to get postcards with touristic views from all around the world:-)
My favorite music are Oldies, mostly from the 50s, 60s and 70s but I also like rock ballads in general. If I'd have to state my favorite band or singer, I'd say it's Elvis, Abba, Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi (I like the older songs more). I've started doing Line Dancing about 5 years ago and I like the kind of songs that are "used" for dancing.
As mentioned above, I love reading crime novels and thrillers. But I also read romantic novels or "chick lit". I don't have a favorite author or book, though.
I must admit, I haven't been to the movies for more than 10 (only guessing) years. I can't really tell why, maybe because of lack of someone to go with. If I went to see a film, I would choose something funny, a romantic comedy, I suppose. Or something like Lord of the Rings etc. Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman are my alltime favorites.
I've always loved to get postcards from family and friends sent to me from their vacations. And getting to know the world by touristy postcards from anywhere was my first intention to join Swap-bot.
But I also love
- elephants
- turtles
- dolphins
- cute and fluffy (baby) animals :-)
- space
- nature (flowers, landscapes etc.)
Please let me know if you haven't received a swap from me. I mark the swap sent when I put it in the mailbox. I have come to know that German Mail doesn't empty mailboxes in my area every day (because they don't have enough employees) but I hope this will change again in the future.
