Hi Everyone!

I live in hot southern California with my wonderfully nerdy husband and dogs. I love art and am always trying out new projects. I have a major obsession with Halloween, and spend most of August, September and October crafting the props I use to scare the neighborhood children on Halloween night. I also love anything spooky, whether it be ghost stories, creature sightings, or haunted places. I am also that person, when she spots a dog,that will squeal and point and immediate want to pet it and give it kisses:) I particularity love Pitties with their big blocky heads and Pomeranians with their fluffy tails.

Horror, mysteries, Halloween

I enjoy papercrafts, painting, drawing, paper mache, really any craft I come upon I will try and probably become obsessed with it. I love the "smash book" concept of a bunch of random thoughts, art, and favorite things all together in one crazy book. I will almost always draw on your envelope-No blank mail from me! I want to start getting more into art rather than just crafting- zines, hand drawn postcards,altered tags, etc I am a dabbler, going from one type of project to a completely different project the next month. I really enjoy making large scale Halloween props (zombies, carved funkins jack o'lanterns, headstones,etc). My latest ongoing craft project is a haunted dollhouse, complete with a seance room and vintage Halloween party decor.

I love horror movies, my absolute favorites being Black Christmas (the original, not the remake!) and Trick R Treat. My husband introduced me to the Italian Horror directors ( Argento, Fulci) and I love the giallos of the 1970s and 80s. I also love the pre-code Hollywood movies of the 30s and 40s; The Thin Man being a particular favorite. Barbara Stanwyck and Myrna Loy are my favorite actresses. Star Wars is also a big favorite, the Clone Wars cartoon series being the best. (My favorite character is Ahsoka) I like Disney movies Hocus Pocus, Up, The Princess and the Frog, Wall-E, Big Hero Six. Best animated movie though? Hands down-The Iron Giant

I have always liked Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Deadman, Zatanna, Oracle and Constantine.

I enjoy Batman: The animated series and DC animated movies-especially Wonder Woman and Justice League: The New Frontier.

I enjoy the Marvel movies, but can't get into the comics.
