For me I'm a Kate/Kevin mix. Feeling unloved/never good enough by mom, destroyed by death of dad, obesity. Sigh. It's such a show that I think everyone can relate to at least some aspect of.
13 Reasons Why isn't as emotionally draining in general. It's definitely a case of accountability catching up to everyone regardless of intent. For me there was a triggering subject that had me emotionally drained to watch but other than that it's very - reflective I think.
I'd be happy to send you the book. The series is equally as - it's hard to give a "positive" adjective but it is very well written and performed by the entire cast. Very emotional. Don't catch up on "This Is Us" and try that in the same month. I watched the midseason finale of TIU last night and openly sobbed for about 30 minutes until I just cried my way to the bathtub. This show is so worth it. I hope your schedule frees up. Hang in there! ♥♥
I won't passive aggressive gaslight. They're on a good swing. Tonight's game is our Hockey Fights Cancer night and we've recently lost 11 year old Blues superfan Arianna so I'm already emotional. :'(

LOL...I took the test 3 times and was placed in Slytherin every time. My 3 girls are Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Slytherin. (Hubby is a HufflePuff)
