Another Spring Recipe: This is for making a potion.
Early in the day, harvest any herb leaves that made it through Winter and are greening up for Spring. Remember to leave an offering for the Plant Deva (run your fingers through your hair and leave single hairs, for example). Pour enough water over the herb leaves and let sit for at least 3 hours with at least one stirring. Strain and drink as a tea. Put the liquid in your cup. Turn it once to the right and 2x to the left. This is called a 'witch's turn' and is done with or for your intention. Leaves in my garden right now include Lavender/love; Mints/psi skills; Parsley/grief issues; Rosemary/memory
Stir-Fry Dandelion Roots: Harvest dandelion roots from a Spring Garden. Wash & chop. Measure about a cup pressed down. Slice 6 oz fresh mushrooms, 1 cup sliced onion, 4 cloves of garlic, sauteing all in about 3 Tbs olive oil. Cover & cook 5-10 minutes. Turn off heat and season with Soy Sauce.
Magickally: Dandelion is a pain reliever and heart-friendly; Mushrooms bring strength and courage; Onion banishes negativity; Garlic brings protection; Olive Oil promotes health; Soy Sauce brings in the unknown
regarding the tarot cards....I used to open a deck and give them away at rituals I served as Priestess for, so I have a few left from various decks that I continue to share. So sorry not to know specifics. I think you can do a search for backs of tarot decks in google images and maybe find them. Some are so old they may be out of print. Glad you like them. Your PF was perfectly done and yes, the fold over was correct. We only use 3" of the original 12" cut, and so it still measures 9" long. It is just a wonderful swap and as soon as it stops raining, I will hang it on my arbor in back. Thank you again for being a participant in this swap and for being my partner.
