Hi! I'm Katelyn! I am 21 years old and I live in Northern California in the US. I am just getting into swapping and getting back into snail mail. I started out pen paling when I was in junior high and lost contact with my penpals over the years. I love music, Marvel movies, books, writing, crafting, letter writing, and Magic the Gathering. I am a huge nerd and I also love a lot of other nerdy things but to many to list at this point.

I live with my parents and my sister currently but I was living on my own for two years. I am glad to be settled for a little while though, because I moved around a few times when I was on my own.

I love YouTube and actually have my own channel where I talk about books. I love reading and I would say it is probably the earliest hobby I can remember having.

My favorite music is older rock, 90's alt-rock, and some current rock. I'll listen to a lot of stuff that is out side of that but my favorites are Everlast and Green Day.

My favorite books is probably the hardest to narrow down but I have always loved Harry Potter, my dad read them to me when I was a kid and I fell in love with them. I also love a lot of adult romances and a couple of my favorites are The Kiss Quotient and The Hating Game.

I love Marvel movies, I know way too much about the MCU. I also love a good rom-com and Disney is always good.

I don't watch a lot of shows beginning to end, I have a short attention span when it comes to TV/movies, but I have watched all ten seasons of Shameless. Which is kind of an accomplishment because I struggle with episodes over 20 minutes.

I don't really have a favorite craft at the moment. I used to be really into metal crafts, but now I'm more into paper crafts. That's what got me back into letter writing. I loved writing but being able to combine my love of crafts and writing and making friends was too awesome to pass up.

I have also been handing making envelopes for a while but I just got a score board so my envelope game is way better than it used to be now.

I also recently bought a Cricut (it's not here yet) but I'm also hoping that will get me into a whole new side of crafting.

I love trying tea from all over the world, but please only send sealed tea bags that you bought, not ones that have been through the mail before.

I love long letters, so feel free to ramble as much as you like.

I love reading, so any book recommendations you have are always appreciated.

Anything Harry Potter is awesome, especially recipes (I love recipes, especially baking so include those all you want).

My favorite holidays are Christmas and Easter (I love spending time with my family)

Some themes I love are vintage, anything ocean related, fall and spring, color themed (my favorite colors are blue and pink), mystical creatures, fandom related, and book related.

I will say though that I am totally okay with anyone sending me a letter if you receive a letter from me in a swap and would like to write back. I will do my best to respond to all letters.

I will say that there isn't much that I dislike receiving, but I am not religious at all so please don't send religious things.

Although, I am not allergic, I am sensitive to smell so please don't spray anything on any swaps.

I also don't like gore/scary/spooky stuff, even around Halloween (not a fan of this holiday in general)
