*****I cannot receive packages at my home address, only letters/flat envelopes.*****
There's a lot of package thieves in my area, so I can only accept regular envelopes and the large flat rate/priority envelopes from the post office. Because of this, I only sign up for swaps that don't require a package instead of a flat envelope. However, if you want to send a package, send me a message and I will give you my work address. Hopefully I can move to a place with fewer package thieves soon!
If I haven't rated you yet, it's because I haven't received anything. You can feel free to send me a message about it.
I'm mostly here for snail mail. I love to send and receive postcards, letters, holiday cards, greeting cards, etc. I'm not picky about what's on the card, but I would really like to receive an actual message from you on the card/in the letter. Tell me about the last great book you read, what your hobbies are, a favorite quote, what you wanted to be when you were a child...anything, really! I just want to make connections with others. I like tea, cats, video games, warm weather over cold, romance, dark beer, cephalopods, stickers and cute things. Green and purple are my favorite colors, Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite holidays, aquariums are my favorite place to visit and I wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up. I still do, really. I'm a big nerd--I love video games, science fiction and fantasy and D&D. I even founded a company with my friend to hire ourselves out as dungeon masters!
I enjoy postcards of all kinds, as I use those for Postcrossing. I love stickers, as well, especially ones with cats, plants and flowers, and anything space-themed. I like washi tape, pins, lovely scraps of paper (including lovely packaging or paper bags from stores.) I think I'd like to get into embroidery, but I'm still debating if I have time for another time-consuming craft. I have a ton of embroidery thread and needles thanks to my mom and grandma destashing, so I really don't need any of that! But I will happily take fabric good for embroidering and other supplies you might want to destash.
