Hi, Bev, just thanked you for the great postcards, and now looking at your profile, I see Bryson's The Mother Tongue is amongst your favorite books. I was wondering which of his books I'd go to next- thanks for the lead! Reading Wild led me to A Walk in the Woods. Being a bit of an Anglophile, I'm now reading Notes from a Small Island. He hits all the right notes for me; he's humorous, and irreverent, and explores the world the way I'd love to do. Take care, Rhonda in Oakland

Hi Bev! I am one of your partners for the Profile Perusal, Post & Postcards swap and it has been awhile since we have visited! I enjoyed reading your profile and had to giggle about your dogs not having thumbs! Have you read "The Art of Racing in the Rain"? There is a dog in it that also discusses the need for thumbs! LOL! One of my favorite books! I also enjoy several of your favorite authors - I feel sad for folks that do not enjoy reading as it is so wonderful to have a book take you places you might never get to go otherwise. How wonderful that you and your husband have been married for so long, and have traveled so extensively! Did you collect pcs during your travels? I am kicking myself that I did not when be traveled to Mexico a few times but now I am addicted to finding them! LOL! I also enjoy NCIS and Criminal Minds (only when the hubby is not home - not his cup of tea)! LOL! I will be sending your pc later this week! Hugs and Happy Swapping!

Hi there, Thank you very much for the cute postcard you sent me for the "Tag & Tell Postcard Tag"! Your vacation in the south of France sounds lovely, I hope you have a great trip :o) I'm a fan of Van Gogh as well, have only seen his work in the museum in Amsterdam but thought his works in person were amazing. Best wishes, Christine :o)

I remembered a tid-bit of information you might find interesting...on the show "Who's Line Is It Anyway", there is an occassional "contestant" named Gary Williams I graduated highschool with him. LOL
