Hey there, I'm Kristen. Pretty new to quilting, although completely hooked. I have a degree in Apparel Design and I started teaching myself how to quilt about a year ago, thus building my stash (um, can you say fabricholic??!!).
I just moved to Bellingham, WA from Seattle were I was born and raised. Most people move from the small town to the big city, and I did the opposite. The Seattle stereotype holds true, I love coffee and I'm a total snob about it. But in addition to it's wonderful local coffee roasters, living in Bellingham puts me right in the middle of four different quilting shops! Yay!
My next venture(s) include: Embroidery, Knitting, soap making, and I would love to experiment with fabric designing. I'm really attracted to line drawings and modern designers like Heather Baily, Heather Ross, Denyse Schmidt...I could go on.
