i have noticed in swaps that they often say to look in your partner's profile to see what you should send them, well, i would like to see what you like!
i am hoping you don't like something really horrible!
but honestly, i'd rather not just be surrounded by just the things i like, i'd rather swap to see new and interesting things and other people's art and points of view!

things ask for a well filled out profile... so here is more info about what i like to do.

i like taking pictures, especially what i suppose would be considered "experimental" photography? as well as taking pictures of the sky and flowers and bugs, nature in general. i don't really know much about photography though, i just like taking pictures.

i also make 3d pictures!

i make little books and zines, mostly photozines and artzines, most of them are pretty little. i make a tiny photo/artzine thing called "hi how are you?" that is a little tiny envelope that is 1x1.5" with little tiny photos in it! over the years i have made well over 50 zines or artistbooks, most of them little oneshots.

i have been involved in mailart since 2000! along with sending mail, i have put on 4 previous mailart calls with the themes of sky, my chemistry set, tiki & mushrooms. The mushroom one was the last one, in 2015, and ended up being a pretty huge project! i recieved 76 entries!

i currently have a mailart call running called "airmail" that involves creating your own airmail or other postal label, i was going to end it in dec but i am extending it to the end of 2017, you can see the details here ( http://dystatic.webs.com/airmail.html )

i enjoy experimenting with ecodyes and natural dyes! most of what i have learned about it has been through experimentation. i started last year, and last fall i did LOTS of it. this year our fall was pretty stupid, it snowed pretty early and i didn't get a lot of chance to do much. I did a bunch of experimenting in the spring with ecodyes and flower petals. i am also really interested in rust dyes.

i like making prints with agar plates i make. agar plates are like gelatin plates, but i am vegetarian and dont use gelatin, so i experimented and came up with a pretty good agar plate. this is also like those gelli plates, but it's not permanent, i keep it wrapped up in the fridge, but eventually it will dry up or get gross (but they can be recycled!)
