Right now, I'm super passionate about paper crafting. Paper paper paper... I love beautiful paper! Black & White architectural, inventor schematics, and botanical prints are my favorites! I enjoy creating quirky steampunk images with dressed up animals, mixed media, and altered art. I love distressing almost everything with ink, sandpaper, gesso, dyes and watercolors. It might seem counter intuitive, but I also enjoy clean minimalist designs. But when in doubt paint it black and distress it!! I am inspired by Tim Holtz, Heidi Swapp, most things steampunk (I just love those grungy gears,) junk journaling, art journaling, and micro tiny street art.

Some brands of rubber stamps I like are Tim Holtz, Waffle Flower, Lawn Fawn, Mama Elephant, Deep Red, Prima, Graphic 45, CTMH, Heidi Swapp, Art C, Pink Fresh... okay, well I pretty much can list a bunch more but that's enough to be getting along with for now. :D

My Favorite stores are Craft Scraps, The Craft Box (both local stores,) Ebay, Amazon, Tuesday Mornings, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and Joann's.

Likes;

• quality over quantity, every time!
• 2nd hand unusual rubber stamps - very old ones are great! stamp the image or send me the stamp, either way is fun!
• stamped images of everyday items on good/nice paper; e.g. bathtubs, pencils, pens, pencil sharpeners, books, car rear view mirrors, file folders, beds, pillows, toilets, toilet paper, computers, vhs tapes, disketts, you know... fun odd stuff
• vintage looking paper ephemera of all kinds
• glasses, hats, crowns, magic wands, wings, halos, paper dolls, bow ties, ties, bows, and speech bubbles with/on people and animals or without
• postage stamps - used and unused, vintage, duplicates are fine I like to share with others

• herbal tea - peppermint Tulsi is my favorite. I also like Bengal spice, turmeric, mango, orange, other mints - tension tamer but not green, black, white or red teas please and thank you :)
• miniatures - like for jewelry, doll houses & tiny street art
• miniature furniture - from the teeny tiny to the small enough to be useful on my desk to store stuff
• dark chocolate 55% or more with organic sugar. I am allergic to milk and white refined sugar (just a couple among several.) Chimes ginger candies are yummy! And non aspartame gum.

Dislikes;

• No thank you for overly religious stuff
• I'd prefer not to have loose confetti or glitter but contained is cool!
• anything other than herbal tea - herbal tea only but not green, black, white or red teas please and thank you friends :)

Music is huge in my world! I love to dance too! I like a lot of different kinds of music, but my recent favs are Megan Trainor, Fitz & the Tantrums, The Chainsmokers, Portugal the Man, Young the Giant, ELO, Sweet, Charlie Puth, Walk on the Moon, are just a sampling.

I recently took up the electric guitar and the ukulele. Oh my gosh, so much fun to be had! They have changed the way I hear music too... kinda cool!

Some of my favorite movies are Alice In Wonderland (live action and cartoon versions,) Jane Erye, Sense and Sensibility, The Day After Tomorrow, Edge of Tomorrow, Reign of Fire, Leap Year, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Arrival, and Red I & II. If I really love a movie I give it a second name, like Reign of Fire is aka Burn Everything, The Day After Tomorrow is aka Freeze Everything, and Edge of Tomorrow is aka Mimic This or Mimic Groundhog Day. My family and I quote movies all the time... I speak fluent movie quote -at least for the ones I've seen!

And some of my favorite TV shows are 3rd Rock, Grimm, Stranger Things, Medium, The Marvelous Mrs Mazel. I also like NCIS, Numb3rs, and Criminal Minds.

Books are amazing, I devour them happily and regularly. Of few of my favorites are Alice In Wonderland, The Things You See Only When You Slow Down by Haemin Sunim, The More of Less by Joshua Becker, No Limits by John Maxwell, The Life Changing Magic of Tiding Up by Marie Kondo, The Divergent Series, The Harry Potter Series, Twilight Series, Hunger Games Series, and Fablehaven Series. I'll take a risk on pretty much anything Brandon Mull puts out there.

I also enjoy quilting, ribbon embroidery, sewing, all mediums of painting, journaling, photography, jet skiing, yoga, gardening, healthy plant based eating - I'm vegan, and minimalism (accept my craft room gets a pass on the minimalism... Let's don't be silly!) My favorite color is black, and I love beautifully handmade items!

Odd little tidbit about me; I consider Friday the 13th to be my lucky day because memorable good things happen to me on Friday the 13th. And when I was younger I would often find money on Friday the 13th, that part was fun! Also, mine and my husband's first child is the 13th grandchild of his parents, there are 13 diamonds in my original wedding band set, and we lived in #13 when we were first married. Kinda fun!

I will not flake on a swap but sometimes the post office is not as reliable as I would like. If you feel something has gone astray please, let me know! I document everything with pictures and I'll happily resend.

I have a postal scale and I have been selling things online for many years. If I have made a postage mistake I would like to know so that I may learn and keep it from happening again. I will reimburse you and send a little something extra to make it up to you! Please, let me know! I try to focus on sending quality over quantity and I send stuff that I would like to receive. :)
