About Me

BASICS I'm 33 and married. No children, just a dog. I live in the USA.

I'm very much into photography. I specialize in digital infrared. I shoot with Nikons.

I also play the cello and mandolin and collect guitars for my hubby.

I work in technology, yet hate computers.

I garden, I knit, I crochet, I play video games, and I watch way too much TV and too many movies.

I read non-fiction, I study world religion, art, and philosophy...not so much history, except for art history.

THINGS I LIKE (in no particular order): volkswagens, classic, vans, busses, Beetles (Beetles being my favorite...I have a 1967) my dog, giraffes, zoos, railroad pennies (the fake ones you pay for), coins from foriegn countries, earthy looking faux jewelry, yarns, feng shui items, Buddhist items, digitat photography, picture frames, seeds, stationary, magnets, funny pens, random stuff from the dollar store, random stuff from thift stores, scify tv shows, Sugar-free candy, coffee

Colors: I like black, grey, brown, silver...this is when it comes to things I wear. When it comes to just a color I like, I love those bright greens that are out these days, VW calls the color cyber green.

Response: thank you for the compliment. the story was supposed to be a paragraph and wound up going on for 10 pages. if there's ever a future swap, i'm going to add to it. glad you liked.

Response: thank you, glad you liked. the story was just supposed to be a couple of sentences tying everything together but once i started typing... glad you enjoyed it..

Response: thank you. i wound up getting carried away with it. i tried to right a paragraph into to the notes and wound up still typing 10 pages later...I kept a 4th copy of everything for myself and hope to expand on it if there are future swaps

Response: they sell IR filters on ebay for about 10 bucks that you can play with. you still have to customer white balance, up your iso, and use a long exposure with a tripod

Response: i'm glad you like it. i thought most people didn't like digital ATCs but that's my favorite medium...and you don't need boxes and boxes of ephemera. Just a creative mind and a laptop.

Comment: Thanks for the consideration! My g/f got me into this. I found out that maybe 1/5 actually consider the profile, so thanks! Turn It Off! comes from an Local sticker that was very popular out of the FL!GHT Gallery here in San Antonio. Go to http://turnitoff.tv/ the website, click on info at the very last thing where it is "i own you" to take a look at the sticker. It found everywhere downtown! Cheers!
