Favorite Music

Huey Lewis and the News (LOVE the music AND have a little crushy-crush on Huey! I've seen him in concert 25 times and once on Broadway!). I also have a Huey tattoo.

I also love Billy Joel, Bryan Adams, anything 80s, Broadway show tunes, and I LOVE to sing karaoke (diva music usually!). I also love Tenacious D and Flight of the Conchords.

The Wizard of Oz (my favorite kid's book and series)

As for adult books, my taste is pretty varied. Lately I have been reading books on kindness, being the best person you can be and living your best life. I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, and pretty much anything with a dust jacket that piques my interest.

Other Loves...

I love to travel. Favorite places include Maui, New York City, and Disney World. I have also been to Ireland, London, Mexico, and all over the Caribbean. Next year we are taking our first trip to Italy.

I also love Broadway shows (Phantom, Chicago, Mamma Mia and Wicked are favorites), classic cars (I have a 1960 Nash Metropolitan), and trying new and crazy things (zip line, bungee jumping, auto racing). I combine my passions by scrapbooking all these things that I get to enjoy with my wonderful, patient hubby. I also have two adorable Labradoodles named (Chewbacca and Friday), and a cat named Huey.

I also love turtles.

Comment: Swap did NOT meet Swap requirements. You were to send FIVE rainbow items and you only sent ONE. Swap was on envie but no name was anywhere. Swap deadline was 9/20. On 9/23 she marked the swap Sent. However, on 9/25 she sends me a pm saying that she forgot about it and was just sending it out. (What happened on the 23rd?) (Why did she not contact me between the 20th and 23rd?) She begged me not to give her a 3 due to the lateness and falsifying the Send date. She said she had to go out and buy all this new nice stuff for the Swap. The swap had nothing that new and nice to make me feel bad for her troubles when she did not even send the required 5 rainbow items. This was a very disappointing Swap

Comment: This is lovely but the foiled leaves are fallen from the card and are stuck to the protective sleeve so I won't ever be able to remove the card from the sleeve. I tell you so know it for another time. The colors are beautiful and bright though.
