I'm a swedish mother of four who loves crafting and penpaling 😀.
I work as a teacher here in our village. My favourite subject to teach is art :). I also love gardening, especially growing things you can eat. I have a ton of green tomatoes in my greenhouse as we speak 😊.
I'm not human before I get my morning coffee and I absolutely love chocolate. I'm a very loud singer in the car...never in the shower though.
I love trying new kinds of teas and I love scented candles. Right now my favourite tea is Pukka's Vanilla chai and my favourite scented candle is currently Sweet apple by Yankee.
I like both spicy teas and fruity teas. I drink black, green, white, rooibos and herbal teas - as long as they are flavoured :-). I also like fruity flavours with spice like lemon/ginger, apple/cinnamon etc.
I'm not too big on vanilla, caramel and other very sweet flavours. And I don't like chamomile or mint teas. (And as I mentioned before, the tea has to be flavoured - no plain teas, please.)
I believe the world needs more love! And I hope I can brighten up someone's day by sending happy mail.
Creativity keeps me sane and makes me happy. I really enjoy penpaling and mail art. I also like scrapbooking, cardmaking, drawing and knitting.
One of my penpals got me into trying watercolours. I've always been a little afraid of that. I'm an acrylic paint kind of girl - or so I thought. But it turns out I really like working with watercolours.
Since about a year back I've been doing some origami. I find it both fun and challenging :).
I've recently started artjournaling and I truly love it. It sort of combines a lot of my favourite things. Art, stationery, writing and all the beautiful quotes I find.
I looooooove Pinterest. Maybe it shouldn't be listed under crafting....but oh well, I find a lot of crafting and journaling ideas on Pinterest. And I'm a teacher and the kids at school get to try new things all the time thanks to, oh yes, Pinterest :-).
Colours I like:
Themes I like:
Prints I like:
I love so many different ones so this will only be a small portion ;-)
I'm totally addcted to washi tapes! I just can't seem to get enough...
My favourite brands are at the moment MT, Aimez le style and Masté. But I'm always looking for new favs :-).
I don't really know how many rolls of washi tape I have - too many if you ask my family. Lol, but probably a few hundred. And I love making washi samples, so if you're up for a swap, please message me. I will swap for washi samples or other goodies if you have.
I like most stationery items, but I'm not a big fan of Disney related things.
I'm allergic to hazelnuts and walnuts, so I would prefer that you send things without that :-)
I don't like plain teas or chamomille tea. So if you want to make me smile, send flavoured tea 😊.
Please don't send me make-up. I use make-up but not that much. Glitter is okay :-)
I don't like coconut or rose scented things. I like eating coconut though, and roses in other things like pictures, prints etc.
New add to the list! Please don't send me items that smell of smoke!
Stamps!
Oh how I love stamps! If you'll put extra effort into finding nice stamps for my mail - you'll make my day! I also love receiving used postage stamps from all over the world.
Well, other things I like: I want to start by saying, I LOVE the art you make. Mail art, altered stuff, drawings, sewn things etc. I love when someone has taken time out of their life and created something for me. That makes me feel special and puts the biggest smile on my face.
nailpolish, mostly soft colours. I like glitter, sparkle, "normal" and matte.
I have a thing for hand cream and lip balm. I mostly like organic stuff, but other ones are fine too. I don't like coconut or rose scented stuff.
Stationery - all kinds! Papers, letter sets, washi tapes, stickers, pens, markers, ephemera, die-cuts, envelopes, cards...
Chocolate - I LOVE chocolate!
Notebooks, I can't get enough. I love how they look and feel, and smell....oh and how they sound when you turn the pages.
Beautiful vintage cups - both for tea and coffee. I have a small collection of vintage cups I've bought from different second hand shops.
Vintage ephemera, bookpages, old photographs, tickets, ads etc.
Art supplies - coloured pencils, markers, watercolours, grafite/charcoal pencils, good quality papers. I get a smile on my face just thinking about stepping into an art supply shop.
Warm cosy socks, kneehigh socks, big scarfs, knitted hats, mittens. (for autumn/winter)

My postcard wishlist
First of all, Iove receiving postcards and any kind of mail, and the best thing is your message. That someone has taken time out of their life to write me a message always puts a smile on my face :-).
But as I said in the beginning, I love receiving all kinds of postcards - the message is the best thing :-).
