Single mom of 3 boys, working multiple jobs and needing a dose of creativity! I love the magic of swapping and shared creative energy - having a deadline and someone else counting on me also helps greatly in making creative time a priority.

If you haven't received a swap from me, please let me know! I'm usually pretty quick about sending them, so they shouldn't be late. Also if you're unhappy with what I've sent, please let me know! I'd like to improve what I make, so am open to constructive criticism.

A note on my id - the first character is an L, not an upper case i as some have suspected.

Extras aren't necessary. If you have something that screams my name, great! But don't worry about adding extras just because. I'm most interested in your artwork you're sharing with me!

I've also pretty much stopped sending extras. Organizing all the 'stuff'' and keeping track of what bits I'd sent to whom was driving me crazy and taking the fun out of swapping. If you swap for the extras, I apologize! If you'd like to receive extras - especially if they're the inspiration for your artwork, just let me know! I'm happy to send extras if you promise not to growl about duplicates!

I love all kinds of crafts, but am most drawn to fabric and paper crafts. I've been a crafter since I was a kid (from a family of crafters). Right now, I don't have time for quilting so am nursing my need to craft with ATC's (thanks to Swap-bot!). I'm finding I really prefer to draw/paint my ATCs and am having a ball making them!

For most crafts, I'm not into designer names. I'm the same way with clothing. Being trendy isn't important to me - I go more on what I like. I tend to shop thrift stores and garage sales.

Television: Right now, if the tv is on, it's for the kids. In my downtime, the tv is off and I'm usually doing some type of craft. Pre-kids, I liked shows like Emergency Vets, Friends, The First 48, and CSI.

Music: I became an avid music consumer again during my divorce. I finally remembered how to immerse myself with headphones and take a mini-break from life - mostly popular stuff on the radio - there seems to be so much of it i like these days!

Books: I like to read all different kinds of books - kids through adults - though definitely prefer a physical book to an electronic download. I'm in multiple book clubs and love variety!

I'm pretty eclectic... I love all colors from brights to pastels, to muted colors. I love textures in fabrics, papers, yarns. I'm a fan of animals, particularly drawn to cats, moose, herons, hawks, and otters. I also adore dragonflies and butterflies, and collect feathers, rocks (agates/fossils) and buttons (the clothing type). I collect 'trash' to craft with my kids - plastic containers, magazines, mail; and we re-use craft items once we're done with our old creations. Outside, I love to go geocaching and hunting munzees!

Dislikes? I have to avoid strong smells/perfumes, as they can be migraine triggers.
