Basic Profile Info
I'm a working mama living in the Pacific Northwest of the US. I enjoy various fiber arts such as felting, knitting, crocheting, dollmaking, sewing. I also enjoy making cards, baking, and trying new recipes.
For Kids Easter Swap Ages 9-12: girl
I used to have an urban chicken flock, which I very recently re-homed with a friend in the country in order to simplify my schedule. I still have a deep and abiding love of chickens, so items that are chicken themed are welcome.
We were a Waldorf family for many years, so I also have a soft spot for things like gnomes, fairies, and vintage/antique illustrations, as well as nature table items.
I enjoy exchanges of finished items, as well as materials for crafting, sewing, scrapbooking, as well as cards (homemade or storebought, whichever is easiest) observing holidays and such.
In case folks need additional ideas for some of the Valentine's theme swaps: vintage illustrations are lovely, homemade or storebought cards, stickers, confetti, die cuts, fat quarters--please just make this easy on yourself too! I'm enthused about the swap, and quite open about what I receive, so please don't worry about this.
Quirky humor is appreciated too. :0)
Cheers, and happy swapping.
PS There are some groups/swaps I am joining that have requested very well filled out lists of likes/dislikes. I've since added this. Please know that I'm basically a very flexible person about all this of course.
PPS I'm totally fine with both glitter and confetti, so don't restrain yourself if that's who you really are. =D
I would love to know when you receive your item--if for some reason something doesn't show up, please let me know so I can take care of it right away.
My goal is to let people know when their items ship, so you can be on the watch for them.
If something comes up in your life making it challenging to meet a swap deadline, please just contact me. I'm a working mama, and trust me I understand.
I have to confess I find the likes/dislikes section a bit challenging, primarily since I'm a working mom with an interest in a few specific crafts, but on the whole I'm a busy lady. So please understand that I'm relatively flexible, and when people make an honest attempt to either match up to my likes, or genuinely share what interests them, that will make me happy.
For folks who will do best if I list "likes" this way, here it is--but this is by no means rigid

Goodness that seems painfully excessive! But hopefully that gives everyone a wide, wide range of things to work with!
Hopefully this is helpful--and there's a really wide range! The links match up images that hopefully give an idea of what I mean
This site has a great selection of Asian florals and patterns
This site has a great example of retro patterns/color schemes from Kaufman, Miller, et al
OK, probably more than enough--but hopefully that range of color schemes and pattern types lets you know some of what I find enjoyable.
This is a small section--if it would not be appropriate for your grandmother or your daughter, chances are I wouldn't like it--that should eliminate all the out and out offensive stuff, right? =D
While I like individual pieces of black clothing, I'm not someone who keeps dark decor around my house, so all black themed items would be an ill fit. I won't hate it per se, but just a really poor fit.
I'm not terribly interested in items related to sports, motorcycles, etc.
Not a fan of anything related to Twilight or anything related specifically to movies, TV, or similar media.
Not interested in items related to video games or online games.

Love the envelopes and notecards for the Crafting Queens WTA! It was SO nice of you to create something for me. I am so excited to have them! Thanks SO much!!
Thanks for the great WTA #7 package! The envelopes are the best I've seen, you did a marvelous job. For once, even my cynical husband was impressed. Thanks again for the neat-o envies :)
