I'm a single gal who graduated last year with a BA in English. I have a long-hair dachshaund named Peanut and he is my sweetheart. I'm originally from Pennsylvania but have lived in Indiana for the past 20 years. I love a good laugh, a good book, and a good piece of pizza pie!
I love scrapbooking. The smaller the book the more I love it! A friend introduced me to ATCs and I'm addicted to them! I love paper and can't have enough. From time to time, I'll get my beads out and create a bracelet or two. I started making scarves and dish cloths on knitting looms and would love to learn how to crochet or knit some day. I recently started dabbling in altered art.
Read a book---it's good for you! I love to read. Laura Ingalls Wilder, writer of the Little House on the Prairie series, is my passion! Anything about her, by her, etc! I also love to read biographies: Abe Lincoln, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Lizzie Borden (quite a diverse cast of characters)
My favorite shows include: Law and Order: Criminal Intent--I LOVE Vincent D'Onofrio; Project Runway--I'm not a fashionista but I love the creative vibe it gives me; Little House on the Prairie; The Brady Bunch; basically anything on the History Channel. I'm hooked on crime investigation shows and ghost hunter type shows.
I love the 80s! Madonna, Bon Jovi, and all those 'one-hit-wonders'! I practically wore out my mom's Simon and Garfunkle record when I was a kid. I love their harmonies! Love New Kids on the Block too--great group of guys; I was fortunate enough to meet them.
Weenie dogs, books, scrapbook supplies, ATCs, vanilla ice cream, ghost stories, antiques, all things Little House On The Prairie-related, NKOTB, Vincent D'Onfrio, history, dogs in costume, Chai Tea, office supplies, lip gloss, lotions and potions, old family photos and mementos, ephemera, pizza, pink, silver jewelry, beads, ribbon, cupcakes, owls, scarves, nail polish,
My all-time favorite movie is It's a Wonderful Life! I'm hooked on the classics--Psycho, Rear Window are also favorites. Every time My Big Fat Greek Wedding or The Sound of Music is on TV, I have to stop what I'm doing and watch!
I'm pretty ease to please. I'm not a coffee drinker nor do I like coffee scents.

Hi nicolea,
I just saw your sad note on the Little House Christmas swap. I'm so sorry you weren't able to join the swap in time, but don't worry--there are a lot of Laura fans in the group, so we will definitely have another LH swap sometime soon.
Welcome to The Hundred Acre Wood...and please do stop by the forums and introduce yourself in the "hello" thread when you have the chance!
Wishing you a Happy July Birthday... from Raven and the Monthly ATC Swappers Group

Thanks for joining us...Hope you enjoy the group
Just wanted to say Hello! Looking over your profile made me smile, we seem to have some "likes" in common. I am in the Alfred Hitchcock atc swap as well. The Yellow Wallpaper is the only thing I've read by C.P.G.- so wonderfully, disturbingly creepy. I love it. I kind of collect old Ghost Stories. Have you read The Beckoning Fair One by Oliver Onions? I think it's my favorite. - Cynthia aka Lishmo
Hey I created a swap, Summertime Inchies.. wanna join? :)
Hey girlie!! Hope you're doing well :) hug
Of the 4 people in the NKOTB Holiday Card swap, 2 did postcard styled cards and 2 did folded cards, so I don't think there was a "right" way. :) All of you were stars to me! (I have 3 ~lovely~ cards on display ;) ) Thanks for being a part of it!
@anoranegal was over this weekend & she saw the Joey calendar you had made for NKOTB swap 1 and was wowed by it :)
It makes me happy every time I look at that shelf!
