...Summer Update.... Summer is short and busy here so I don't expect to be swapping again until fall arrives...

Thank you💕 thank you 💕thank you....to everyone who has sent me such lovely swaps and goodies. I had lost my mojo working on a journal for months but with your inspiration I finished it!💕

I love pretty yarn and fabric and all the pretty paper goodies. I crochet and knit in the winter, sew but not often enough and garden spring through fall. I also enjoy homekeeping and decorating our house. Sparkle, woodland critters, arrows, feathers and archery are popular at our house. Love all colors but aqua is a favorite. Old fashioned anything is adored. Love baby everything... plants, people and pets ;) Postcards, stationary, envelopes, wax seals, vintage/church recipe books, patterns, templates, handmade cards, note cards, tiny things, Scandinavian themes, happiness. My first swaps were Pocket letters.. fun! Also have made junk journals, vintage inspired cards, mini albums.... I like to repurpose/alter and for some reason Dollar Tree crafts are cool. Not much of a tv watcher but craft and cooking shows are nice. Little Big Shoots sure is cute! Favorite Youtubers... Jen of Eve Designs, craftyirina,Patricia Viramontes, Hermelinda Z. Aguilar, Maymaymadeit, Charlotte Peterson, Gayle Agostinelli, Lindsey Zenor, thefrugalcrafter.... and a million more. I'm kinda fascinated with Kristie Marcotte...paper pad killer ;) Recently found France Martin (great accent!) and Connie Stewart for card making. (Diane in Denmark :) not crafty but helps with routines.)

I love variety in life and the changing seasons. I'm solar powered...need the sunshine to energize my soul. We have chickens and dogs and kids too! My day runs better fueled on spiced chai latte. Fav colors... Blushed peach, blushed rose I love handmade soap, new socks, coziness, family (past and present), memories, hymns, quotes, happiness, the winking emoji 😉 Don't "need" a thing, love it all. I collect trims, doilies, thimbles....love the old granny stuff!

Classical, encouraging, positive, happy, silly. Love patriotic and marches too. There is a flute and ukulele player in the house ;) Soundtracks for the classic movies 🎥

Happy to receive Bible verses & inspirational thoughts. Lamplighter books always make me cry. A Peep Behind the Scene, The Little Lamb, Rosa of Linden Castle, etc. Classics. I'm listening to every Lauraine Snelling book I can find as I commute to and from work. Start with An Untamed Heart and you will be hooked also :) Oh, Ingeborg. I have a Pinterest board about you... ideas for a junk journal. Actually I have all kinds of Pinterest boards with ideas for journals and then some. If you like pioneers, the Midwest, historical fiction, Norway, immigrants, tender love, Christian faith, laughing, crying, thinking... then read these books.
