About Me

My name is Shanna and I live in Columbus, Ohio with my husband, two kids!

I did swap bot a few years ago and loved it! I recently told a neighbor all about Swap-Bot and decided it was time to get back into the swing of things!

We started a pen pal group with a bunch of mothers for our kids to write back and forth throughout the summer. That has kept me busy but it has been so rewarding!

I look forward to swapping. I loved ATC swaps, mail art and lots of random info kind of letters. I also loved swaps that were all about crafty paper and ephemera. So I look forward to getting back into participating in those kinds of swaps!

Favorite Music

I honestly love it all. I go in genre bursts. Right now I'm rediscovering all the old country classics that I grew up to.

But I guess my fav is rock. Favorite and though is QUEEN!

Favorite Books

I love anything Jodi Picoult and I also like personal development books. But I really love getting old books and using them to decorate.

Favorite Themes

I'm including this category because I LOVE WASHI TAPE! I use it to decorate everything. However, I'm going to list any and all themes that I love!

Favorite Colors

I like all colors, however, I prefer a balanced color scheme.

I love gold foil. I love dark navy blue with lighter pastels like a pinks/yellows. I love creams as the base for most multi-colored items. I'm not into harsh colors like black and red. I prefer a more feminine palette.

Old Poetry Books - I like to use them in crafting.

Washi tape! Love love love it!

Embroidered fabric - I love floral and nautical themes and I am starting a quilt and I also regularly change out embroidery hoops and display embroidery.

Beads - my girls and I love to make jewelry and we like to use proper beads.

Postcards--unused, see themes...but any postcards would be awesome...not picky here!

Crocheted dish towels - my kitchen colors are yellow and blue...but I love anything bright and cheery for a dishcloth.
