Response: Sometimes I wonder whether I am OVERfilling the pages with an amount of writing that overwhelms the person who's on the receiving end of a journal I've made. Glad to know that you're pleased that the pages were filled.
Response: Glad it's reached you and that you're liking it. And many thanks for wishing me good luck on the job front.
Response: Thank YOU, too, kiwi.
Response: I thought so, too -- there was a wide range of answers to the questions.
Response: You're welcome -- and thank YOU.
Response: Many thanks, jzzyblu. I hope you enjoyed/are enjoying reading it.

Response: Beautiful penmanship? Thanks. Eventually -- soon, I hope -- I'll leave these co-workers behind. Thanks for letting me "SCREAM" about them and other stuff.
-- Reds
Response: Muchas gracias.
-- Reds
Response: And you did! Many thanks -- and now I'll write back before the week's over.
-- Reds
Response: Many thanks. I had fun doing the coloring -- and the envelope.
-- Reds
Response: Thank YOU, misumisu22 -- and you're most welcome.
Response: Thank you, baerli!
Response: I DO remember the "forced march" of the prostitutes into Virginia! And one of the memories I did not include is another one that is D.C.-specific, though the rest of the country became aware of it -- the night that Mayor Barry was captured on videotape in the Vista Hotel on M Street, smoking crack and failing to "get lucky" with a female friend who was complying with the FBI in their sting operation. Yes, I went to the 9:30 Club to see bands. It still exists in name, but is now at 8:15 V Street, NW (a much larger space, but less "funky," and with a substantially smaller population of rats in the adjacent alley. I believe Commander Salamander is still in Georgetown, but cannot swear to that being the case. I seldom bought anything there, but used to help myself to the free promotional buttons that they kept in a candy jar on the counter near the front of the store.
Many thanks for the rating, the heart and (especially) your comments.
-- Reds
Response: Thanks for the kind words, libraryshark! I hope it lives up to your initial impressions.
Response: Glad you liked the envelope and the note! And yeah, go 'head and give Sharpies a try if you're motivated to.
-- Reds
Response: Yay! So glad you liked it -- and don't fret about not posting a photo of it.. It's more than understandable (for the reasons you cite) that you wouldn't want to make that info. available for all to see.
Response: You're welcome. It was fun to design and make. -- Reds.
Response: You're most welcome. She was a lotta fun to make. (Does she have a name?)
Response: Aw, I'm blushing. Many, many thanks.
Response: Many thanks! Glad you like it (the card/Hokusai's art, I mean).
Response: You're welcome. Glad it reached you (already!).
Response: Thanks, Badwolf! I figured lip balm's useful in yr neck o' the woods at this time of year, and I like the pomegranate and hoped you would, too.
Response: Many thanks, ukstash, I'm glad the oriole reached you as quickly as he did.
Response: Glad you liked the letter. I enjoyed writing it, and that you liked the pink & brown. Most of the transcripts I do are legal or related to legal issues like misallocation of government funds, employment discrimination, that kind of thing -- not court transcripts per se, really, but investigations that may turn into lawsuits.
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for having hosted it, too.
Response: That's a high compliment. Many thanks -- and you're most welcome.
Response: You're most welcome -- and I'm glad you liked the card.
-- Reds
Response: Ha! Thanks. I guess if there are more people at the party than mints in the box, you can refill with Altoids or Tic-Tacs or the minty candy of your choice...
Response: Yay! I'm SO glad they reached you and that you liked them.
Response: Glad you liked the photo side o' the card -- and the flip side, too. And thanks for complimenting my handwriting. Sometimes I think it's style-free 'cause I think it looks like the handwriting samples on the walls in kindergarten/first-grade classrooms everywhere.
Response: It reached Australia faster than I'd've guessed. Glad you liked it.
Response: You're most welcome, and I'm glad you like the photo subjects. The pen I used was a Uniball micro -- the smallest tip they've got (at least to my knowledge).
Response: You're welcome -- and thanks for your welcome to swap-bot. In sending the bars, I stayed away from sending stuff I know is ubiquitous here, and I'd imagine in most parts of Canada. Ghiradelli chocolate, when I visited San Francisco some years ago, was new to me at the time, but is much more widely distributed now than it was at the time, and it's certainly (still) less often seen than are Hershey and Mars brand chocolates.
The roseberry bar, I thought was potentially interesting, but after I bought it I noted that it came from the U.S. state of Washington or Oregon and thought it might be much better known in western Canada than it is on the east coast of the U.S.
-- Reds
Response: Aw, you're welcome. The note -- I'm glad I included it. I neglected to have included one in the package I sent to my other partner for this swap. D'oh!
I like that giraffe card, too. The company that makes 'em has a lot of animal cards I like -- and I'm kinda particular when it comes to which animal-related stuff I like.
Response: It traveled surprisingly fast, too, but I take no credit for that.
Glad you liked it. It was my first.
