1 Word = 3 Postcards
Swap Coordinator:Paige1900 (contact)
Swap categories: Challenges  Postcards
Number of people in swap:46
Location:International
Type:Type 2: Flat mail
Rating requirement:4.98
Last day to signup/drop:March 25, 2016
Date items must be sent by:April 4, 2016
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

Before I assign partners, you MUST type a 3 (THREE) letter word in the comment section below. It can be any 3 letter word of your choosing.

After the swap has been assigned, you will find your partner's word in the comment section and send 1 postcard for each letter of the word she/he wrote. (So you will be sending a total of 3 postcards) For example:

If I wrote the word: MUG

You could send me:

  • M: 1 PC of a Monkey
  • U: 1 PC of an Underwater Scene
  • G: 1 PC of a Glass of Milk

  • Pack the cards in such a way they are protected from mishaps that could occur while travelling through the mail.

  • Cards should be unwritten, clean, and in new/like new condition

  • Store Bought Only (No handmade/Freebie/Ad)

  • Include a note explaining how each card fits your partner's word. Also on the note include Swap/User Name

  • Sender's Choice (As long as your partner sends you 3 cards that meet the requirements of this swap, you must rate a 5, even if you do not like the cards.)

  • Communication is the key. If you foresee any issues, communicate with your partner and me. I will help as much as I can. Please note I do not get involved in " Γ’β„’Β₯ " issues. Giving " Γ’β„’Β₯ " is entirely up to the receiver and should NEVER be demanded or expected. Nor should it EVER be required to be given by a host or a founder of a group. That is strictly against Swap-Bot rules.

If you have any Comments/Questions/Concerns about this swap...just ask. :)

If you do not have a 3 letter word listed below when I assign partners, you will be removed from the swap, without warning

I will vet this swap carefully and remove anyone that I am unsure about. Unless it is clearly obvious, I will send you a reason as to why you have been removed.

P.S. I realize the picture has nothing to do with the swap...I just wanted to show off my granddaughter. Γ’β„’Β₯

CAP (is anyone else scared that they aren't going to find postcards for the letters!)

Paige1900 03/17/2016 #

@CookieChops it really isn't hard. I host this swap with long words all the time. So a 3 letter word is easy. For example: If you need to find a card for the letter "X" (which let's face it is kind of hard)...you don't have to have a card of an "X-Ray Machine" or a "Xylophone" (although if you do that would be awesome). You could REALLY stretch your imagination. If you had a card with a pirate chest on it, you could say "X" marks the spot...Or if you had a card of the alphabet "X" is in there. As long as you explain how you came up with your card example, its all good. Remember this is for

I am very uneasy about fulfilling my receiving partner's word however I cannot resist the temptation... lol... so my word is six!

Paige1900 03/25/2016 #

Just everyone remember KEEP A VERY OPEN MIND this is a swap for people with a good imagination. LOL

Here is a hint for anyone that happens to get partnered with someone that has the letter "X":

xeno- or (before a vowel) xen - means "strange or unusual" - example - a xenotree (an unusual tree).

shirleyinCA 03/25/2016 #

JOY - my favorite 3 letter word

Paige1900 04/ 5/2016 #
