Hi! My name is Clotilde and I live in France in the Champagne countryside.

I teach English and French as second languages in a middle school, and I love my job.

I love DIY stuff, scrapbooking, reading novels and watching series and films. I enjoy travelling and discovering new breathtaking views. I like the colours green, white and yellow but I don’t like purple and pink. I’m a very quiet person. I like puzzling, going to the cinema, having drinks with my friends. I’m more of a mountain person rather than a sea person. I’m not really fond of animals (sorry!). I like house plants and I like being in my garden.

I love rock music - the Foo Fighters, The Lumineers, Imagine Dragons, that kind of stuff. I also love musicals - The Phantom of the Opera, Notre Dame de Paris, The Greatest Showman… I’d love to go to Pink’s concert one day.

I read novels about strong women trying to find their was in the societies they are living in. I would love to read more books, but unfortunately I’m a slow reader. I quite like historical novels and romance. I also love the Harry Potter books!

I like reading about self care stuff and there are some spiritual books that I love.

Here are titles of books I loved reading: Pride and Prejudices, The Secret Garden, The Pillars of Earth, His’n’Hers, The Help, The Time Traveler’s Wife, Not Without My Daughter, The Great Gatsby, The Painted Bridge.

I spend some time doing collages in precious notebooks filled with quotes that inspire me. I like watercolor, and pastel coloring.

I enjoy redecorating my house, which was a village school before. I buy old furniture and paint it or customise it. I like embroidery and macrame

I like women centred drama series like The Handmaid’s Tale, Orange is the New Black…

I also enjoy British series such as Sex Education, After Life, Detectorists, Fleabag…
