About Me

Greetings from Poland to all of you!!!

I'm a proud Christian, a member of the Charismatic Community, English teacher, translator an avid reader and traveller :-)

I' D LOVE TO RECEIVE:

  • postcards (related to my favourite topics-> see below)

  • Simple books for children from different countries, in different languages BUT not disney manga, superheroes and the stuff like that

  • touristic leaflets, brochures, small guides

  • Decorative stickers and other stuff for decorating postcards, handmades, etc.

  • stuff related to Christianity: postcards, bookmarks, icons, small pictures as long as it's Christ-centered

  • Holy cards- small cards, often with a prayer on their back used in the Catholic Church. Preferably vintage but I collect also contemporary ones AND preferably with any image of Christ and a prayer to Christ/God

  • Postage stamps (also used)

  • As I'm learning Italian now, I'd be glad to get any materials for learning it: flashcards, readers etc.- simple things, as I'm still a beginner

My favourite postcard themes

♥ An icon/ mosaic/ fresco or any piece of art showing Jesus, especially as King, Good Shepherd, or with children (as to the last three, they can be even folded, handmade or postcard-like

♥ trains/ buses/ trams/ tractors / vans / lorries / trucks

♥ containers with spouts: teapots, jugs, watering cans etc

♥ frogs, toads, tadpoles, moose/elks, bisons, yaks, bufallos, musk oxen. BUT please NO corrida, bullfighting, hunting and the stuff like that

♥ flowers (esp. poppies, cornflowers and lupine) / herbs/ vegetables/ flower-shaped cards

♥ drawn picture of a city/ village (not necessarily real one)

♥ Drawing of black or dark blue night with the moon and stars

♥ Touristic postcards from your country. If possible, I prefer PCs from smaller and less known towns and villages rather than capital cities and famous landmarks.

♥ In season: Christmas cards with a beautiful Nativity scene or related scripture. Please, NO meaningless PCs with just santas, christmas trees, stars, bells and the stuff like that

♥ In particular I'd love to get the christmas card with the motif like here: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/FfuIz-SoBU/TQEPysMLasI/AAAAAAAAAA4/hSIi3UWLdPk/s1600/santakneelinglg.jpg- no matter whether folded, overized or handmade.

♥ Nice hand-made, (but not self-printed) related to the above topics

♥ (real) vintage postcards related to my favourite topics are more than welcome

  • I love cards stamped, written, decorated with stickers and washitape.

  • If you have no idea what to write you can:

a) draw on the postcard a little picture of a frog

b) write who do you consider the most prominent woman of your country

c) recommend me any book related to my areas of interest => see below

  • If the swap requires sending postcards in the envelope I love envelopes decorated with stickers etc. or made of the stuff like old maps, magazine sheets etc. I never throw away such envelopes.

Postcards I DON'T really like

  • Showing violence against humans or animals

  • Ads

  • Book covers

  • Cities at night

  • Oversized

  • Celebrities, famous people, INCLUDING famous people connected with religion (popes etc.)

  • cartoons (disney, manga etc)

  • Abstraction

  • Keep calm.., I love...

My humble request- please don't send me the above PCs.

Fussers

Who are fussers? They are people who fuss when it comes to swap requirements. I can understand the requirements of filling well one's profile, or not too low rating. Yet I cannot accept banning people because they haven't completed the given number of swaps... If everyone wanted give such requirement nobody will ever complete any swap! Being banned due to such things makes me feel rejected. Please, don't fuss, people. I don't like fussers. I'll block fussers!

I dupa wołowa...

I cannot stand...

  • garlic smell
  • dogs' barking
  • babies' crying
  • vehicles' beeps
  • crowd
  • "annointed" charismatic leaders, healers, and miracle-makers
  • family- latrious Christians
  • legalistic Christians (too strictly sticking to secular law, never criticizing their bosses etc)
  • pan-religious Christianity
  • blindness towards the differences between religions
