I really enjoy Swap-bot for inspiration, connecting with pen pals and trading art. Art Journaling and mixed media are my favorites right now for swapping.

I look like a party on the outside- but I've always kind of been a little old lady on the INSIDE - things even out more each decade : )

I was living in the San Francisco area and there were MANY MANY opportunities to take classes and join groups for any kind of hobby or interest. While living there I took lots of amazing mixed media workshops, joined great groups of crafters that met up monthly and had access to lovely shops and artist markets!

I am in LOVE with the TCM channel, old movies from the 1920's-1950's make me so happy. The clothes, the style, the refinement, the actors and actresses, the singing and dancing, the magical sets they created - all of it adds up to a world of glamour that this world lacks in the current day.

Anything with Bettie Davis, Marlene Deitrich, Claudette Colbert, Joan Crawford, Doris Day, Rosalind Russel, Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire, Barbara Stanwyck, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, James Cagney, Jimmy Stewart, Marilyn Monroe or any other glorious gentleman and ladies that graced the screen!

Goth, Industrial, Synthpop, New Wave, Rockabilly and Psychobilly. I love to find new penpals from all over the map. I'm a wordy penpal, so I appreciate people who have a lot to say.

I love doing long term journal swaps, message me if you're interested. When I do these, it's really about the writing part of journaling and less about the art part.

I really enjoy seeing handmade creations. I love ATCs and art journals because each person makes one of a kind art when they sit down and create. Handmade postcards are awesome.

I'm interested in the following types of swaps: Mixed media art, ATCs, Handmade Journals, Art Journaling, penpal and I'm thinking of starting a swap series for advanced/experienced card maker pen pals. I'd really enjoy seeing what some other card makers are doing and it's only fair to exchange something that takes that much time and effort to create for an equal effort.

Ideas for flat items I'd enjoy: vintage ephemera, ATCs, Stamped Images, used postage stamps, gelli printed papers, handmade cards or postcards, vintage book pages, vintage tickets and ledger paper.
