Hello! My name is Michele. I am 48 and a SAHM. I have a seven and a eight-year-old son and daughter, a Maltese and a DH of 11 years.

I am from Los Angeles and recently moved to the Central Coast of California (near Paso Robles/wine country). We are halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. We live across from a vineyard and I am a bit obsessed with wine right now.

I have also lived in Philadelphia, San Francisco and New York City. I love anything relating to or from these cities, as well as LA and CA.

I love using inks and stamps. I’m a big fan of mixed media. Of course I love my markers! I am addicted to finding neat and unique images, stamps and cool embellishments for collage and ATCs. I spend a lot of time happy creating cards, ATCs, post crossing and journaling.

I am new to postcrossing and love it. I appreciate any and all postcards. My favorites, among others, include Lantern Press, Anderson Design Group, large letter city postcards, Ranger Doug, Buddhist and spiritual, concert or music, colorful, unique tourist, cryptozoology (Yetis, etc.), anthropomorphic, beach and ocean themed, airline, book themed, Shinzi Katoh, Jetoy cats, colorful, modern, political, feminist. I am not offended easily. I am fine with artistic nudity (no porn/vulgar).

I have a collection of political buttons dating back to Grover Cleveland. I collect from all districts, states, countries and parties.

I love to read and love books. I started reading and watching Harry Potter for the first time recently. I am reading with my kids and I am absolutely Harry Potter obsessed. I also love to read political and historical non-fiction, oral histories and historical fiction. I have recently been on a comedy/improv binge, reading lots of books about and by comedians. It has been fun! Barbara Kingsolver, Ernest Hemingway and David Halberstam are my favorite authors.

Dave Matthews is the soundtrack of my life. I also love John Mayer, Tom Petty, Eddie Vedder, Lucinda Williams, the Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Green Day, Patty Griffin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rachael Yamagata, Pink, Cold Play et al.

I love sports, especially baseball and football. Go Eagles! Also (big) Yankees, Dodgers and Flyers fan. I LOVE game 7s.
