AND NOW..... we welcome the new year FULL OF THINGS THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN!

My adventure this will take me to as many states and countries as I can - through swapping in Swap Bot!

I want to collect envelopes and postage from all around our country and world!

Widowed after being married for 33 years to a heroic firefighter - the love of my life and soulmate.

Mother of three; 1 son, 2 daughters and one four legged mixed collie - all grown (even the dog) and Nana of two little boys 9 and 7 and one little stinker mixed chihuahua and yorke!

I love to travel to warm climates. Cruising is one of my favorites - I love the islands.

I am a retired social worker having retired on November 30, 2016 after 14 years in child welfare and the death of my spouse and beloved Papa!

I am a homebody and love to sip on dry red wine!

I love:

Paper Crafting recently working on journals, loaded envelopes and making my own embellishments.

Jewelry Making I have taken a little break on the traditional bead, chain and eye pins and working on unusual materials from around the house.

I like- but struggle with - knitting, crocheting, fine arts as I have arthritis in my fingers :( I recently bought some looms to try again because I think this is beautiful art and sometimes a lost art.

RIGHT NOW - my all time - out of the closet craft - is quilling..... jewelry, pictures, cards, etc.

I love many things and try many things.... at times I like to walk, other times I like to go for a ride....

I like the quiet of the woods, and sound of the seashore...........but the laughter of my children and grandchildren are the best!

Most recently started making journals .. big and small; junk and diary like and children’s time. Would love any ideas you have to pass along!!

People are mostly awesome!

I love the color blue (all shades) and the combination of black and white. Pretty much the only color I am not overly fond of is pink - but even then - I use it!

My favorite animal is a dog - I have a mixed pup named Maggy. I think she is part rabbit and part shepherd. And now have a Granpup named Max. He is a little mixed up ball of fur - but soooo adorable.

My favorite season is Fall - I love the crisp air, wearing sweaters, and the changing of the leaves.

I am inundated with paper die cuts, stickers, etc. I have been sifting through and donating to our local Y for the children's upcoming summer camp.

I love ink pads and double sided paper and looking forward to finding some new art ideas out there by way of materials, inks, paints, etc. I love the look of Tim Holtz and Graphic 45 but it is a tad expensive for my budget.

I am open to whatever swapping extras you may send my way - but please know - I have a donation box for the things I will not use and donate that to the Neighborhood Art House every so often.
