blissful_mama and ellawitch -- I'm just going to be the one to say it (and probably face some backlash) but I'm not sure everything is on the up-and-up here.
Sam told me she sent my items early June and that they must have gotten lost in the mail. But then Alyssa told me on June 28 or so that she sent my items. How would they be in Sam's apartment or wherever for Alyssa to find and send if Sam had already sent them?!? Plus, they never arrived, so they got lost a second time after Alyssa sent them?
If Alyssa is still planning on making good on these swaps, now is the time! The items were promised to me in last week of April and first week of May, so the accident isn't the cause of the non-sending.
I'm truly sorry if Sam was in an accident and, if she was, her recovery is more important than some swaps, but if Alyssa agreed to send these items out for Sam, she should -- or at least communicate! She hasn't even posted about Sam's progress! Neither one of them has logged in in weeks.
Yeah...communication has stopped with me too. I have emailed Alyssa numerous times requsting info on the "True Blue" swap she was supposed to be sending on Sam's behalf. She agreed to send the swap so that Sam could get a package to cheer her up. Otherwise, I would have had the partner that was set to send to Sam send to Sam's partner instead.
I talked to Alyssa and was told I would be getting my crafty-swap tag magnets weeks and weeks ago but nothing ever showed up. I understand there were some problems but now communication has stopped.
