Comment: Thank you so much! I love the tissue cover, and the added embellishment of the ribbon was a lovely idea! Thank you for the extras as well, I can already see how I'm going to use the fabric, ribbon, and embroidery floss...! Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you for all those different kind of teas. I really enjoyed opening one a day and even if I haven't drunk all of them yet I loved the once I already tasted. This was a very nice swap and I hope there will be another for 2012, because this advent calendar was amazing, well you as one of my swap partners made it amazing! :)
Response: Thanks for the heart! I loved this swap too. It was simple to do, but so nice to receive and drink all the lovely teas. I have found some new favourites (apple tea) as well.
Comment: Meg, It finally arrived and thank you for the receipe. I have mailed a letter back. Have a happy christmas. Fran
Response: So sorry attempt no. 2 hasn't arrived. Have written again and posted today (7th Dec) this one has a cheesecake recipe with it so you'll know if you get this one. I've made sure it is airmail letter rate too- in case this was the problem.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely note card and gifts. I know what you mean about all the shops being full of Christmas stuff and I'm struggling to find what I want as everything has been moved round. I love Christmas but shopping this time of year is just too much.
Response: Glad you liked- sorry it wasn't that festive, I had trouble finding things in time- as our local craft store was being 'refurbished' and so its shelves were half empty- now its sorted you can't move for xmas things ! typical!
Comment: Meg, I LOVE MY APRON! You did a fantastic job. The color is perfect. Thanks for reading my blog and taking the time to make something I would like. I've have the flu and my husband had heart surgery yesterday. I came home from being with him at the hospital and found my package. The timing was perfect. I can't wait to wear it the next time I cook. You didn't pick an easy pattern for your first time, but you did pick one I didn't have AND it looks like a professional did it. Thank you again for all the time and effort you put it to it. I truly love it!
Response: So glad you liked it- I've been nervous waiting my rating for this in case you thought it was terrible! Especially as I had to rely on you tube to teach me how to sew on bias binding! It was a challenge- I admit, but now that I know it is special to you that makes it well worth it. I hope your husband is through the worst and wish him a safe recovery. Also hope you get well soon. I shall keep an eye on your blog- it is a lovely one to read! Thanks again. Meg x
Comment: LOL I love the Brussels Sprouts card! TOO hilarious and cute! I wonder did you put caterpillars in your garden on purpose so you wouldn't have to eat them? I've been wanting to try them sauteed with garlic - yum! Anything's good with garlic! The teas look so cute in their little packages - can't wait to see and try them! Thank you SO much!
Response: Sorry I'm late responding to this rating- I'm so glad you liked the card- I'm going to check out the forum for the 'opening' of our teas. Its so lovely having a little packet to open every day!
Comment: Wow Meg, what a wonderful sewing kit you made me (and so full of sewing goodies too). Love the colors! Am in love with the beautiful card as well.
We used to go camping no matter the cold and snow but lately we prefer the weather a bit warmer ;-) Best wishes, Miranda
Response: I'm so pleased you like it- I took the idea from a jewellery roll. I'm glad you liked the fabric too- a bit 'girly' but not bright!
Comment: Sorry it took me so long to rate! I really like my new dragon dotee!! Thanks for the hard work you put into it!
Response: Thanks so much -sorry for nagging, but this was one of my first 'home made' swaps and I wanted to know that my standard of crafting was good enough- also the first dotee doll I've made it was great fun to make it!
Comment: I LOVE IT!! I was hoping you'd send me something specific to London and this apron is GREAT! I was there over the summer and wasn't familiar with Gossip Grove so I had to read your note to get it. LOL. (What part of London is it in?)
And I love red. :) Thank you so very, very much.
Response: So glad you like it- I was a bit stumped when I read your profile, but saw this and thought of your comment about liking the London tube- so when I saw this it had to be for you! I don't think there is a real 'gossip grove' in London- I think its 'artistic licence' so as not to upset any real residents!
